DB screwed up losing the belt twice, and that’s the excuse Canelo will always use. Canelo shouldn’t fought him earlier when he was less experienced. When a fighter's purse depends on his standing as a champion or his ranking, not getting to fight to get higher rank damages his ability to earn more money. Andrade is in the same boat. The game is fixed and the promoters are in cahoots with the sanctioning bodies. 🙄

Benavidez was announced requesting that the winner be officially declared Canelo's mandatory, and Sulaimán, speaking for the WBC approved this request. This is boxing at its worst. Just food for thought. I think Canelo is avoiding David B because he could possibly lose it but more than that Canelo can dictate terms for the fights with Charlo and any other Al Haymon fighter as long as he is in the driver seat. If he were to lose to David then he would not be able to dictate terms for the Charlo fight nor other Haymon fighters especially with DB. So Canelo and his team are financially and strategically smart by waiting to fight DB last . Can't blame him for this and we will see if he is scared of DB later when this all unfolds. I do not think he is afraid of any fighter personaaly. I am a fan of both and I think Morrel gives both Canelo and DB all they can handle. Should be some good matchups soon enough.

Why would the B-Side have a bigger say so then the A-Side…. The B-Side can’t just drop an offer and take it off the table in 6 days. This is a huge fight, no one is just gonna make a Mega Fight happen in 6 days. Benavidez (B-Side) is critiquing Canelo’s possible opponent Charlo because he’s been inactive but I bet Benavidez would big up Charlo if he was fighting him. Benavidez is a Clout Chaser and he’s gonna pay for it in May 2024.

I’m not a very big fan of Canelo but I truly think he ain’t ducking this man. Bivol would dance circles around Benavides and Canelo stepped up to that challenge. I think if they do fight Canelo still wins because of his foot work, slips, head movement. Just my two cents I don’t give AF if they do or don’t. Spence vs Bud is the fight to watch!!
