A short clip taken from the RTE News in 1989. Renowned Botanist and conservationist David Bellamy comes to Mayo to lend his support to the campaign against the mining for gold on Croagh Patrick (The Reek), and its surrounding area.
Sadly David died, at the age of 86, last year 11th December 2019.
