Amazing player. We remember the brilliant crosses and free kicks, but he was a pure play maker with a silk glove of a right boot! A lot of Utd's play went through him and he could easily have played as deep-lying playmaker in the middle of the park

@@jerrykelleher9017 tbf he played a lot of games as a deep central midfielder for madrid and got some motm performances dictating the game. Only that Sir Alex didn't fancy him in that position
