I wrote a letter to David Attenborough when I was 6. (I’m 37 now) i got a letter back and when I looked at the date, he had taken the time on Christmas Eve to handwrite a response. Still have that to this day. Legend of a man.

@@sharkgun2716 its totally true, the polar bear numbers are soaring (since 2005 the estimated global polar bear population has risen by more than 30% to about 30,000 bears), and the walruses were not committing mass suicide (like with any mass crowd of animals, when one animal is spooked, say by the drone that was flying all around them close up trying to film them, or the cameramen themselves, they all start to panic and trample each other and push each other about, including off cliffs if one happens to be where they congregate to breed _every year_ and this is *not* the first time it has been documented happening). Attenborough is a liar at best, ignorant with no sense of integrity at worst. my favourite bit is your immediate jump to an obvious ad hominem, as you do not have evidence to refute me with.

Argument from authority, he also never said it exists. The only way you can say for sure the bigfoot exists, is to verify its existence, to show it to be unequivocally true that it exists, to see one in person or to capture one and study it and its behaviours. it needs to be documented otherwise it doesnt exist. funny though, a good survival tip against one of these creatures seems to be to carry around a camera.

@@cadkls many people have seen big foot and yetis and they have been captured on film namely the 1960s patterson film which has been analysed over and over and has not as yet been debunked. granted, many sightings were probably bears or giant apes but many are not. if you had seen the yeti in front of your own very eyes and then everyone said "yeh whatever, this person is insane"...i'm sure you'd a) be pissed off and b) mad with yourself for disbelieving. sometimes personal anecdotal evidence is so convincing we have to believe and trust what the people/person said they witnessed. for instance, a pilot who says they saw a ufo is pretty much guaranteed not to be lying.

  • @cadkls

@@Dion_Mustard This is the worst argument I've ever heard. "Many people have seen bigfoot" I'm sure they have, im sure they're all honest about it, im sure they knew what they were seeing, im sure it was in clear daylight, weren't on drugs or drunk, or didn't just see another person. Yeah reliable that isn't it? "There is footage that has been analysed over and over" id like to see this footage, who was it analysed by? Why have we not had any other documented accounts of big foot? Why is there no other evidence that points to its existence? Why is it that the best defence against a bigfoot attack is a camera? If the modern age of the smartphone, you'd expect the number of bigfoot sightings to increase, funnily enough it hasn't. Strange isn't it? Almost as if it doesn't exist. Anecdotal evidence is simply not good enough, i don't know why you think it is. It's just so flawed and so full of ways it can be unreliable. You need data, hard evidence, dna, footage, pictures, tracks, habitats, feeding habits, skeletons, feces, etc. Where is all this evidence? For a population of bigfoots sizeable enough to sustain over the course of millions of years, the evidence should be plentiful. You're just as fucking gullible as a toddler.
