One of the greatest athletes ever, the only one drafted by 4 professional teams! NBA, NFL, MLB (and ABA). First class individual, and perfect athlete for kids to look up to. As a Dodger fan I was supposed to hate the Yankees but nobody could hate this guy. Thank you Dave for being a great role model.
The Balmain is fly, B-Scott. Great work on the Podcasts. Sitting down w/ these All-Timers necessary for the next generation.
Dave Whitfield one of the greatest athletes ever period. Great baseball player. He was racially profiled by the yankees top brass and thats one of the reasons why ken griffey jr said he would never play for the yankees. Billy martin great manager and a known bigot. George steinbrenner allowed alot of things
Legendary stuff man 👏🏾👏🏾
True Yankee fans loved you, Dave.
George Steinbrenner got suspended because of Dave. Howie Spira.

Actually a better hitter than Reggie and a better outfielder also. Dave never celebrated his own self like Reggie did. And when it got chilly Reggie became Mr. October

Mr. May?? Based on what?? One bad week in 1981? How silly. He was pretty clutch in 1992 when he got the go-ahead hit that won the WS for Toronto. I guess you didn't hear, or you just have selective memory.
