I absolutely love how Caleb protects his potential partner. He sees what others don’t, and protects him. That’s why they’re so successful together. It’s like he knew their success would be fulfilled one day, and it is progress.

I think Caleb had it in mind he wanted a fat sidekick and Glenny Balls turned up.

Should have known this was how Glenny balls was hired. Caleb just had to tell Dave he was fast and witnessed it with his own eyes, was an umpire and a professional eater. Now he eats ice cream, watches Caleb pitch and catch questions/answers whilst saying quick comebacks. They utilized him perfectly.

Dave acts like this cause it's really hard to fake interactions on the other end. These people came in thinking they were either going to impress him or make him laugh not realizing he wasn't gonna give regardless and he would push all the buttons you didn't want him to...it's a good way to find people who aren't gonna crack under some stress or go to HR for everything under the sun.
