Straight up gangster. 100%
BLACK DOG is one of the most visually stunning and sequence innovating stories ever made and it does not get the analysis or appreciation that it deserves. I wish one day you can review it.

Oh, for sure. And Cages. I have to re-read Cages at some point. That was one of the early books that really showed me the full potential of the medium.

@@clubgrubbug Yes. CAGES is the first true masterpiece for me when i discovered Alternative comics. The only problem is that it is a MASSIVE undertaking. So many pages. i wish you good luck on how to break it down to digestible chunks for your subscribers. You are so right: This Masterpiece seems to have been forgotten by the current generation completely.

@@wrestledeep I don't remember it taking terribly long to read. But I loved it so much I wouldn't have noticed. It needs to be reconsidered, for sure.
Sokol is a Slavic word for falcon. Also, I hope those PDFs are done before the December street date

It does help firm the cover up, and is way better than a book cover.
i have that book and many more . love his work and ive wondered the same thing. but i think there is a kind of graphic literacy that people who real lots of graphic novels develop . like they can under stand abstraction better then most

One of the all time greats. It is strange that the general public prefers realism, because the average human obviously engages with the world with iconic/symbolic representations of things in their minds. -Carson
