Thank you for this. One of the best live recordings of all time. Everyone firing on all cylinders. LeRoi grinning while Jeff Coffin is creating sounds that are piercing the space time continuum, it's all just so good. Also audio quality, and your shots are great, really enjoyed this.

@@Sugarsail1 obviously they are all unique. But if you asked any of those band members, I'd bet they would have no issue being lumped in as "jam bands". It isn't a pejorative. They are bands that literally jam out songs for 10, 20, 30 minutes.

My favorite part of this is so damn subtle. At 5:10 or so Vic starts playing this sly little riff under the music and at 5:25 Butch picks up on it and echos it. Vic's smile when he hears Butch nab that line is to me what this music thing is all about. Just the little conversations that happen throughout.

The amount of talent on that stage! I got the tingles all over my body. Then when Jeff started his solo at about 12:09 .... and Carter was holding it down ... and Leroi was watching with admiration. Man that got deep in my soul, in my bones ... and it just built to a crescendo. My eyes welled up with tears accompanied by a joyous laugh. Gotttt Dayyyummm Son!!! Sometimes music moves me to tears of joy at its beauty. Is that weird? Does anybody else feel it like that? ...and there I found the greatest band in the universe!

After hearing DMB jam on #41 with Bela on one of the warehouse cd's I figured it was worth a shot ... so I kept yelling "Play 41 with Bela!!!" towards the end of the show. When they did, I think I shit my face. This was one of the most memorable experiences in my life. Oh my goodness this is so awesome 🤩 to watch this kind of musical masterpiece reminds me of why no other band has ever come close to unseating DMB from the #1 spot in my lifetime! Plus all the genius of the Flecktones is just amazing 🤩 I met all of them in 1998 in Philly when they opened up for DMB when I got to meet Dave 🥰but this was before the invention of cellphones so 2002 is probably the closest to the magic we experienced before then. Although I still have lots of pictures to treasure! So many amazing performances and memories. Thank you for posting this! Absolute masterpiece 🔥🔥🔥

I saw them play this song on the same tour in Toronto, and it blew my f'ing mind back then.... and now it's blown again! One of the best jams ever, with two incredible groups coming together... Bela, Victor, and Futureman are just incredible and compliment this tune so well! Gives me goosebumps! So glad to be seeing this some 20+ years later.

Many years ago, through a friend, I ended up at a Thanksgiving dinner hosted by a lady who owned a horse farm in Charlottesville. I was kind of just along for the ride. There were many tables all over the house and I got separated from the folks I came with. But I ended up at a table with Dave Matthews with maybe a dozen other people. I later learned the lady who owned the farm was his aunt! Talk about an engaging guy! He pretty much dominated conversation, which was just fine with us. But I realized then just how special you have to be to make it big. He’s a really, really nice guy and very easy to be around. No airs at all.
