For me, MTV "alternative" ended around 92-93' when Dave Kendall left as host of Post Modern MTV and 120 Minutes.
Wow. I'm a massive NO fan, and this interview seemed to me quite telling. My one standing question is: who was it that got Phil into New Order?

He was in Electronic so Bernard brought him in
I've always viewed Peter Hook as a bit of a 'dodgy' character and I bet all this animosity could have easily been avoided, alcohol fucks you up and makes you paranoid, even when you become clean the damage has been done
he might be right but he doesn't know how to sell his art. he burned the reputation of peter hook and the light when he said "up to that point we've done the back catalogue and now we're having an identity crisis". i mean what the hell was he thinking?
Hooky' just incredibly bitter about New Order's continued success.
