I have watched your video many times, but tonight was the first time I cried for a life not accepted.

Showed this to my Taiwanese girlfriend, she described it as a beautiful song. Knew nothing of the tale before and cried for the prince. Thanks, Dave.

I grew up in Pictou, but didn't hear this story growing up. I decided to go look for the tombstone in the cemetery. My kids and I found the grave after a long search. Later that same day I met Dave for the first time after one of his concerts and asked him about it. Fascinating!

A very touching story, sung with ultimate reverence for the "unsung" peoples that inhabit our earth!

woah, thats a heavy story. Once again, my belief in the truth that most humans are arseholes is crystalisted, and at the same time Mr Gunning restores some of my faith. What a world.

Dave was right. This is a very odd camera angle. Almost as weird as shining spotlights from the back of the stage into the audience's faces. Who thinks that's creative. Spoils a great song from a master.
