He also had his middle daughter come on stage to drum with the Foo Fighters in 2017. And he has a third daughter, but she's only like 6 years old rn.

Imagine being on either side of this. The dad that couldn't be happier, singing with his daughter. The daughter that couldn't be happier, singing with her dad. Just amazing.

Amen to this. This is the truth. She will always remember this and singing with her dad and the foo Fighters. She is getting a lesson from her dad on how to get the fans going and showing her how to do it. He is really amazing father. This is one of my favorite songs from this band. Dave Grohl never gets the credit he deserves. He’s an amazing talent. And that talents gonna rub off on his daughter Violet. She’s getting a crash course on how to get the crowd going. This is something she will never forget. And as for him he will never forget this performing with his daughter. That is an amazing situation

Every time I hear this song I think of my Dad and cry. He was a Vietnam veteran and passed away way too young. My Dad was and will always be my favorite hero. RIP Jack Mosley

I feel you sister ❤ My Dad was also a Vietnam Vet. He passed away 4 years ago. He was also a tattoo artist and played in a band. They did small clubs only, but I was able to sing with him many times. He still is my hero! It gets a little better with time, but you never stop missing them. Cheers to our badass Dads 🍻

Thank You to your dad for his service. The Vietnam war was a war we should have never been involved in. It was terrible how serviceman and women were treated when they came home. My mom died when I was six years old. Not from a war, but from a brain aneurysm so understand your loss. Hugs! ❤️

I don't know if it's Dave parents, Kurt's death, or what, but he just totally avoids the pitfalls of rock stardom. You can tell he's a good guy, because his daughter just seems like a normal nice kid.

He comes to Dewey beach,De usually around July to hang out and it becomes “where’s Dave Grohl week” he just walks around by himself goes to dinner with his family no bullshit,no handlers,just the absolute coolest dude.I cooked dinner for him and his family.

I absolutely adore this. She's having the time of her life, and he's such a proud dad. What an awesome memory they just created.

It shows humility on Dave's part the way he kind of backs into the shadows near the end and allows the spotlight to shine bright on his baby girl. He's able to buy her anything she wants, but he gifted her this priceless moment when she gets to be the rockstar. Allowing your kids to fly is the greatest gift you can give them. I guess now we can add "Super Dad" to the long list of accolades this man has earned.

The coolest man on the planet...nicest guy you’d ever meet... and still an embarrassing dad!! Love it!!

It's always interesting hearing family members doing harmonies. Their speech patterns are often so similar that when they sing together their enunciation and timing is right on cue, which of course adds to the quality.

It must be a blast being Dave Grohls kid! He is one of the most talented musicians and funny AF! He's multi-talented, sings, plays every instrument and his music videos that he's acted in are just hysterical! I mean how many parts did he play in "Learn to Fly?" Multi talented!

As a father of four daughters I love this. I once got to play guitar while my daughter sang and it was amazing!

Had tears all the way through this. I have been a performing musician since age 15. My 22 year old daughter is one hell of a vocalist. What I wouldn't give to share the stage with her! Wow! Dave. Cherish this!

Such a wonderful moment between a father and his daughter. I lost my daughter many years ago, so this is especially beautiful to see.

I was there and can honestly say this is like one of the only bits I remember. I was paraletic drunk.

Roxanne Moser late forties and I have low sperm from a genetic condition called ehlers Danlos syndrome I guess, I have over twenty diseases and conditions from it and read low sperm was one of them, but I would t want to pass this on to a child, the pain alone and isolation from your bodies restrictions can take a toll. I play and sing and a lot used to enjoy it, but now I hardly play from pain and four hand and wrist diseases, also I get emotional and cry because it feels so good to play again and have memories of friends or lovers who loved me playing that certain song, or it hits me personally, kinda like right now, chocking in joy and gratitude thinking how many people thanked me and complimented me and enjoyed the smoke I put in their faces Imagine how Dave feels? God Bless You for making me cry and remember life is so very precious and to play again, it's been over 2 yearsI think, and was under constant attack and abuse for a year and chilled out for he is last year, maybe picked it up ten times in 2 years. I did 4 videos on here of music at 4am tired and sore and hadn't played in long time,mouth promised a friend 23 hours earlier I would upload some music for her in 24 hours in honour of another friend who passed away and always wanted me to join bands, sing for blind melon and upload songs online, and I always told her one day, but one day never came for Lisa as she passed away and out of all my friends, she would call the most and simply ask me to play a song, I started to leave them on her voicemail so she could always listen. Thank You for the memories man, I really mean it, these tears are accounted for in Heaven in tiny lil jars with labels on them for the reason you cried each time. Let Them Flow God Bless You and May Jesus Christ Warm Your Heart

Dave Grohl is one of the most genuine people to ever rock a stage.

He said that in an interview once. Someone asked him if his kids thought he was cool or knew he was a cool band guy and he was like “they don’t fuckin care at all. They’re just like dad I need juice and I’m like hold on honey I’m recording a new record I’ll get you juice in a second and they just don’t accept that!” He was laughing and smiling the whole time. I bet Dave is a wonderful father and husband. One of the nicest guys in the rock world. A band that truly loves their fans. I think they’re the type of band that would still perform if they were told there was no money to pay them for a certain concert and as they were leaving the stage the fans would be singing “ THERE GOES OUR HEROS “

You have to love Dave, obviously a proud father, ekeps putting out brilliant music and kept us safe from Foos, whats not to love?

Man, not only does he seem like he’s really an “ordinary guy”, she does too. And the girl can SING!!!!

This is amazing. If only we lived in a world where we could see Kurt doing the same with his daughter.

That's one of the sweetest things I've seen, singing my hero with her hero.

The look on his face when he looks at his daughter, is the moat amazing thing. Made me break down and cry, she could have sounded like a rock star or a bag of cats it wouldn't have mattered.
