Lol Dave growl has publicly said multiple times he didn't even know how tomplay guitar until he was in the band and he still barely does. And he's not good at all. And basically they play and write there songs so easy that he can manage to play. Knows no music theory or anything and doesn't care to learn cause they are already famous so what's the point. Pretty ridiculous if you ask me. Over rated band

So he rhythmically plays the guitar as if it were a drum set, using the lower tuned strings as the bass and snare, and the higher stings like he would use cymbals. Crazy innovative, what a fucking legend!

Dave is the coolest 😂 and Wolfie got them hands! It’s incredible how closely he plays his dad’s licks, and then goes and writes his own very original sounding music to boot. I can’t wait to see more of what he does.

Welcome to Rockville 24. I was walking back to my RV saying to myself- Dave is nailing that, I've never heard it done so accurately. Then my daughter told me it was WVH.

Second concert I ever went to was VH on their first tour when they reunited with David. Wolfgang was on bass and I think he was maybe 19 years old. It was fucking phenomenal.

I love WVH, he's a seriously good guitarist and musician. I'm so glad that he is finally getting some of the recognition he deserves and is being seen as something other than just Eddie's son. Also...I've noticed that ppl tend to either skip the entire first section of "eruption" and go straight into the tapping. OR they do play it but will be edited out and go straight to the tapping section. I LOVE the entire thing and personally I like playing the first part more than the tapping parts. The whammy bar dives, the super expressive bends and vibrato that has a quality that is nearly impossible to get right and has some of EVH other awesome shredding techniques that are so often overlooked in favor of his tapping techniques. The whole thing is like an EVH guitar lead guitar sampler platter with some of EVERYTHING.

At first I thought Dave nailed the exact sound, then when he lifted his hands I thought oh he's faking against Eddie's recording. Then I see Wolfgang playing and I laughed.
