Alan left because of the Martin-Andy "coalition". Dave regrets Alan's departure the most, as he said in an interview. They still communicate sometimes.

Fits so well. I'm so surprised that Dave never did a colab with Alan with his solo projects. They did get along the best with each other in the band. I mean, Martin and Vince did a project together with Ssss some years ago. Surely Dave could have done one with Alan? This is the best we are going to get sadly. Maybe in a parallel universe.

@@EtsiJuuret Minor correction, but the music is just the original, Alan never remixed Polaroid. He just collaborated with strings and ambience to the original, according to the credits.

I knew “Violence”, “Until you’ve sown the seed”, “If you want to” demos, but wondered if there were more than that. I hope that any other AI cover creators will mark their product like “this was made with AI” (nice cover, btw sounds real)

Кроме всего прочего, в звучании сегодняшних ДМ слышится огромное влияние типичной американской музыки - джаз и тд. И Дэйв, и Мартин давно живут в США, имхо они сильно отдалились от европейского музыкального бэкграунда. А это не то, что от них ждут их поклонники.
