Dave Filoni & Sam Witwer Make A Good Team
Фильм және анимация
full interview - • Interview With Star Wa...
Are you a fan of Sam Witwer, aka the voice of Darth Maul, The Son of Mortis, Emperor Palpatine?
His love of Star Wars is palpable.
Sam talks about the last jedi, and how he respects peoples opinions on the movie, even if he disagrees with it.
Sam witwer & Dave Filoni (New Creative Officer at Lucasfilm) are two of the people I admire most when it comes to star wars, outside of the man himself, George lucas. Witwer explains how they came up with the voice for The Son of Mortis.

I absolutely loved Sam's performance for starkiller and starkiller is still my favourite character from star wars because of how much of a powerhouse he is, how he struggles to break free of Vader's hold while still in turmoil about if what he's doing is the right thing as well as dealing with his feelings for Juno. The force unleashed is a fantastic star wars game and Sam is an amazing voice actor

He thinks about what he's doing in that booth. Not just how he's going to do it but WHY and why it works with the character he's not just a voice box he's a brain and I may sound stupid but hopefully it makes sense. It's why I appreciate him. He's really trying and it's really working
I can never put into words how much I love Sam, his talent is unmatched
Every time I see an interview with Sam, I like him more. The amount of thought that he puts into just doing voice acting combined with his encyclopedic knowledge of Star Wars history and lore is enhanced further by his obvious love of the universe and results in him alwsys stealing the show. He deserves every but of his success and you can't help but like the guy on a personal level.

So when is he Directing a Star Wars Project?
Bro at this point this man is BECOMING Star Wars itself lmao
When the lie becomes truth
Sam is such a huge nerd about his Star Wars and I love every moment of it.
It makes so much sense, all beings in star wars are connected through the force, so it only makes sense that those of the darker side would be connected to each other, they are fueled by similar things, hatred and anger, or other forms of dark emotions, and those emotions are strongest with dark side users, which would strengthen their connection even more.
That’s how you fuckin collaborate
Sam really IS the darkside. He has such a knowledge of the lore and I think he could be thrust into any darkside role. I really want to see him turn up in live action as a Sith Lord from the high republic or old republic if they ever do such a thing. I think he’d have such a screen presence and really draw your attention because he knows how important the tiny details to Star Wars really are. A true hero.
Sam Witwer is awesome
Creative problem solving 101. I love it
Get him involved with producing every goddamn star wars project
"no do it more" lol
OFCOURSE he sounded like Sidious and Maul. YOU voiced those characters too
They put more effort into any episode of the clone wars than they did for all three sequals combined. If only we’d had that kind of directing, fan involvement, and creative passion put into those films.
Man sam has done so many things to make anything he does feel authentic or genuine even in callisto protocol and starkiller in force unleashed he was great . And maul and the son was the peak of his acting
Man, Sam Witwer & Henry Cavil would probably make some of the best media if they worked together. I'd pay to see that timeline
