I grew up in a house where trying to be happy costs you everything. I want my kids to feel safe in their bed at night, I want them to be excited when they come home from school instead of dreading to know what they’ll have to endure as soon as they walk through the door. I want my kids to be happy, songs like this one are what motivated me to get out of that house and be more than what they told me I was. My struggle is far from over but I don’t thing I could’ve made it this far without the help.

9 years ago, on today's date, I lost a good friend. He died serving the Country in Afghanistan. Bullet through the brain. Died at a young age of 19. This song, despite from being from my childhood, really makes me think of him. Hope you're doing well at Home, brother.

Comming back to the old songs I used to love makes me feel Alive ❤❤❤

I'm leaving my family and going 1,600 miles away to a place God has called me too serve. The pain I feel is definitely a different kind of pain...but its a place where feeling good definitely don't cost a thing. Its been a very difficult decision splitting up my family...leaving my 4 oldest children and grandchildren... while my husband and 2 younger children move forward on account of me...with me... and no one seems to understands how torn I am. Selfishly I rejected God many times throughout my life...yet his love ALWAYS remained the same...and still no one human seems to understand how insanely torn my heart is...but probably him. Either way doesn't matter the time has come for me to be selfless...not because he asked but because I did. Thats where be careful what you wish for...you just might get it all and then some you don't want does not balance very well for me. I'm leaving one Love for the other...by choice of course. As The Lord paves the way he never said it would be easy...just possible...and with that I am lead by Faith not by sight... because I Love him too.

I want a flight attendant for almost 30 years and by the time I was 60 and I heard this song I couldn't get it out of my head and a couple of years later I quit and i went home..and found. Peace and never looked back song still makes me cry but I'm so happy at home cuddling with my cats now!

I stayed strong BC after so long of trying to go to anything else but god they all failed me so I held on to god as the reason let me skip to now and say I started off faithless now I'm so faithful in god I started off worried for my future now I know its something gods gonna handle I'm not feeling depressed anymore the whole year of 2022 was hard but with god I made it threw! Now I learned so much and love my relationship with god I know he loves and cares for me AND HE LOVES AND CARES FOR YOU TOO! I moved with family so the next gen could have a better place to grow up and be happy but it's never felt truly home here. I feel the lyrics "don't get me wrong i dont regret this life I chose for me, but these places and these faces are getting old" I dont regret making things better for my kid and her cousins but even though this is their home it doesnt feel like home for me.
