Sometimes parents don't really know what's best for us they take what they had what they failed on to us and even tho they may have good intentions it's not ok to control your childs life if we follow our dreams one day it can leave to success having a backup plan (s) is always good but never give up on your dreams just because the person before you failed or think you will fail the only person who decides you failed is yourself but even than you never truly know when it's all over until it's over (which means you die)

It is so important to follow your passion. You can’t worry about the competition in any field you’re in. Most people will quit before they find any type of success. If you never give up, you will find success. To anyone who may disagree with this, I ask you, did you give up? Are you still alive? You can’t prove me wrong until you’re 6 feet under. But you better have done everything you could towards your goal up until that point. If you didn’t, you still have time. You will fail sometimes, but you can’t ever give up. Mentality is everything. I want you all reading this to prove me wrong. Because in the process, you may find yourself finding success and true happiness.

No racism, no wars and most importantly no suicides. Leonard Bernstein disobeyed his father to succeed as a musician. If he had listened to his father's advice to go into business rather than music, he wouldn't have become Bernstein.
