This just broke me down. 😭 My mother has also been missing since 1983 after giving birth to my youngest sister, who just turned 39 on April 21st. My siblings and I always wonder what happened to our mom. My sister was premature and still in the hospital when our mom went missing. I was 3 years old and I still remember the day my mom dropped me off to my aunt, and her boyfriend was supposed to take her to the store to get me some medicine. He never returned with her. I still remember the car we were riding in.😪 I'm glad this family has received the closure they needed after all these years.❤

I couldn’t hold back my tears when the daughter let out that loud anguish crying scream. Nobody’s mum deserves to go missing in her 18 years old, and only to be found 50 years after in an unidentify grave as Jane doe. Only if the dead could talk...only God knows what she went through leading to her demise.How cruel is this world we live in. Maybe this family would find closure.I pray God grant them the fortitude to bear the loss.

I can't imagine losing my mom for 50 years and not knowing where she is. That's torture! I'm so relieved they can heal and be with her at her burial. Unfortunately, whoever did this is probably deceased as well. But at least they can give her a headstone and they'll always know where to find her. 🙏🏽❤

Yeah, I used to read about such cases and many of them are being solved, including high profile ones. In a way I am happy that Does are getting their names back, but it's sad to know that they are no longer with us, and many had their life taken by people with bad intentions.

When she screamed, I just broke down. Bless her family ❤️

This entire case makes me so sad. I teared up when the daughter saw her mother’s grave for the first time. It’s so sad. This family deserves justice!

Love you all! You're all looking very young and healthy. I found my mom postmortem. Although she passed away naturally after 46 years of me living and not knowing and desperately needing her. There is a feeling of love that covers you that no one should ever live a day of their lives without once you see her for the first time even if its just a picture. There is nothing that will ever replace a mother's love. God bless you all now and forever and might your broken hearts heal. 💕

I wish I could give this woman and her family a big hug! I can't imagine the heartache and pain of my own mom going missing and never seeing her again or knowing what happened to her. My parents divorced when I was 5 years old and my (step)dad adopted my brother and myself when I was 10. From the ages of 10 to 18, I did not see or speak to my biological father until he was diagnosed with stage 4 prostate cancer, right before my high school graduation in 2003. All those 8 years, every time I passed a KLX truck on the road, I wondered if my father was driving that truck or if he even still worked for KLX. Sometimes I wondered if he died in a ditch somewhere and I just never knew because he was an alcoholic. The doctors gave him 3 months to live, but he surpassed those 3 months and made it 6 more years. Even though he was never really a dad to me, I still tried to make his death less lonely and less painful and now I'm going through the slow death of my mother. Please remember to show love to your family and friends, even when it's difficult, because you never know when your or their time will be up. I feel so sh*tty when I get frustrated with my mom, but end-of-life care is not easy when you're one of only two people on duty 24/7. I really hope to repair some of the pain and damage I've caused my mother before she passes! I just want her to know that I always love her and I don't want her to be in pain anymore or to feel like she's a burden because she has taken care of me for nearly 40 years now. I'm not ready for her to go, but I don't think anyone can ever truly be ready for their parents' deaths. Sending love to everyone going through their own personal difficulties! ❤️🙏

Her headstone says "UNKNOWN SKELETAL"? Y'all couldn't give her a better marker, or anything but that? No Jane Doe xx(case number)? SMH. After all these years, that's what this woman finds??? Someone involved with the family needs to start a gofundme or something because that headstone has got to go.

Probably. Recently, there were some decades old cold cases that were just solved by identifying killers who are deceased. Like the I-65 killer who died in the 2010s but they found out who he was. It sucks these dead killers weren't brought to justice. Heck, the killer or killers of The Boy In The Box are most likely long dead.

True but Patricia was 18 in 1970 so she would be 70 years old and the person or people who killed her could very well still be alive! I WONDER WHERE'S THE HUSBAND AND IF HE WAS, HE EVER QUESTIONED AND INVESTIGATED.

Or evidence gone. So sad. They may not even be able to tell cause of death. Hopefully there is a record of a autopsy or something that was done when body was found. If there was no corruption involved of course.

My mom baby sister went missing back in 1990. I still remember how my mom left my siblings and I home with are dad and she got on the 1st Greyhound bus to Alabama to be with are family. The police search for my aunt maybe for 1 day smh!! Never found!! I'm glad this family was able to identify her after all this time.

Well she looks beautiful and good to be in her 50s and have gone through so much, not saying 50 is old but we wear our pain sometimes.

I cried too when she saw her mother's grave for the 1st time. I'm sorry for your loss, I hope whomever did it pays and gets caught.

My condolences to this family. I honestly cried from "I have abandonment issues from it" and when she released that cry from her soul it broke me all the way down. This the 1st time I have witnessed so much real grief on the news from all being interviewed. Definitely must say that they have some of the best DNA. @@birdhead73 I found an old newspaper article on Google about the case. It states that the husband was interviewed initially but nothing came of it and nothing further was mentioned after that.
