The cat is so sweet, and the lady and her daughter are so sweet, too!

Animals know who to trust. That cat picked that little girl. When I was pregnant with my second daughter my 9 year old daughter was picked by a cat when we went to adopt one. It wouldn’t leave her side she had it for over 12 years.

Reminds me of my old outside cat we had as a kid. She would hear my bus approaching and walk up to the top of the hill where my bus stop was to greet me every day after school.

Oaw.. my mother was like this too. She always expressed compassion for stray animals and would feed them. I learned compassion through her and I love animals still. I ended up adopting a stray myself as an adult and I love this kitty to bits

That cat definitely had a family before becoming a stray. Recently, too. You can still see the indentation on her fur where her collar was worn. It may have fallen off while she was outside.

Can't believe they left it without water the first day. Especially if it followed the girl home. And it was injured. That seems really like it needed help. Because cats will not normally do that. I am very happy they brought her in. Very nice.

I also had a stray enter my life, it’s sweet. But once they get word out ‘on the street’, prepare for guests 😸😂🙏👏✌️

I think the cat that was following her was her mother, mother cats usually follow their kittens to see if they are in a good home. It also explains why the other cat never got to close and never interacted again with the cat but stood close to watch.
