Datsun needs to retain its originality in terms of colour and period peices no scene crap otherwise take your time and have fun is the aim of the game

Sean Johnson I mean a clean wide arch setup. I don't like how people go so over the top usually when simple looks better. I know it sounded like I was contradicting myself. I don't like huge splitters and canards when they're not needed and things like that. I suppose everyone likes different though. I don't know too much about cars as you can probably guess haha.

Good video mate love the videos keep up the work and love ur plans for Datsun if I had one I’d either keep it standard as a classic or jdm kit

I would love to get some classic jdm wheels as well as some flares, maybe a ducktail for it. Also absolutely love white shorts.

If I had the datsun I'd get it ready for the road and then slowly start adding bumpers etc, then a set of wheels, loving the car content my dude been watching since the Oscar days

For the battery terminals, once mins were rusty on a moped and someone recommended white spirit and it worked very well. I don't know exactly if it does bad to the metal.

I'm so hyped that there's finally an new Datsun video! Those video are what brought me to your channel :P I would do some cosmetic touches on the Datsun. Like the standart lip pretty much everyone is running, 240Z style indicators and that little rear spoiler. Did you change the oil before starting the engine? I was looking at a 260 that sat for a decade or so and I really wanna buy it, but it's probably best to start the engine first. I wondered if you should change it beforehand or if it's fine to leave to old oil in it for a quick start up🤔

My Datsun, rb26, some nice hre’s. Little widebody kit, candy apple red, with some nice black bride seats and wood steering wheel.

Can’t wait to see the Datsun finished. Would love to see it finished in a Matt black finish

Also definitely just get the interior done up in the Datsun, I feel it’s a bit too nice to absolutely thrash it round a track so I’d love to see it just polished up with new rims and updated suspension and brakes. Is it turbocharged because love to see that refreshed.

Just clean it up. Add some bucket seats, plus suspension/ tire mods and maybe some engine mods one day? That patina looks awesome btw.

L28 w/ big turbo, BC coils, nice wheels, full interior w/ cage.

Need a decent pair of shorts would love these and I would keep the Datsun stock for a while after competition and see how it drives/handles then see what would benefit it next then go from there

Great Video. More Datsun Videos! If the Datsun was mine id keep it the natural rust patina with clearcoat over instead of paint. Not sure what you had in mind for it anyway.

I’d clean it up with the smoothed bumpers and then just normal wheels coilovers and dash cover or possibly new dash if you can find one

I would definately swap the stock motor out for a k20 or a 1jz. Love the car man, I'm building a civic hatch similar to Tom's at the moment.

Datsuns class man! Would probably rb25/6 swap it, the usual, keep it rear wheel drive aswell so would need a bit of work. Love these videos plus a I want the shorts 😉

Make the Datsun some badass street car. Leave the outside untouched but completely overhaul the suspension, engine and interior. Would be so cool to see you make good power on the L28, either put larger carbs on it probably 34mm Webbers would do it. Or you could put on a turbo kit as some Datsuns came with an L28tt. Let us know when you take the car to meets when its done. Will definitely make the drive down to see you and you, but mainly the car.

Didn’t even realise a giveaway was happening. Only came for the Datsun. Dammit, I need a pair of shorts to go on holiday with soon! I haven’t wore shorts in ages because I’m so self conscious lmao. But would really appreciate a pair! The white shorts are sick! If that was my Datsun I’d put it back together with some OEM parts, keeping it looking as standard as possible, keep it clean and it’ll be a little investment. Or I might have a bipolar moment and want to go mental and go overboard on everything and just widebody it. Either way they’re beautiful to look at standard or modified!

First thing I'd try do to the Datsun is sort out rust (if there is any). Much better to do early on then later when the car is built

stock engine, a fresh offwhite paint job, coilovers, wide af rims and tyres, flares and a PHAT bqr windscreen banner sticker. And cant forget about some speakers and a sub to blast those birds sounds

Your excited reminds me when I finally got my Peugeot 306 xsi started been sat for 9 years finally got it started after changing the fuel pump starter motor sparkplugs and putting like £35 worth of fuel in it haha

I'd paint it a nice gloss black and get some nice chrome lenzo wheels and dayly it, also have a nice stock looking interior. Or go all out and build it in to a drift car. Could do with a pair of shorts in this weather it'd be nice not having to wear thick jogging bottoms

I would get it all running, respray it metallic purple and put a huge carbon wing. I’ll also add 22” chrome wheels and a armytrix exhaust

I would get some headlight covers to improve the look of the front
