The funny thing I have noticed abt my male friends who are on dating apps is how harsh they are in criticizing women on their looks, age and pictures. Frankly, these guys are no treat to look at and are superficial to judge people on looks. Really don't know what they were taught. But I am glad that not everyone is like them and I m not dating them. 🙏

@@agnessmith9548 Saying it in the open and putting it on your dating profile as a prerequisite are two different things. Chances of a mans dating profile getting permanently banned for typing this in, are much higher, than that of women having height as a prerequisite. Women can talk about height openly on a TV show but men can't possibly talk about their preference for womens' breasts as openly. Our Facebook and LinkedIn profiles would be flooded with derogatory messages. The double standards in society suck, big time. Also, this constant complaining about "female objectification" needs to stop. As above, we men have to deal with it too.

I was wondering if I could get some advice. I met my crush in winter 2018. She'd come to me twice, apparently to chat. 1.) She once saw me on a bench, asked if I was studying for a quiz in our upcoming class, and still sat by me when I confirmed it. 2.) Weeks later, she went to my table when I was on my computer and asked if I was doing homework, which I denied before telling her to sit down. Since then, we'd only occasionally encounter each other and chat, having no classes together. A year ago, I said hey as she walked by, eyes on phone. While talking to me, she slowly walked her way to her class, and very casually, I walked beside her, being respectful and as if moving also to continue the conversation. She stopped walking as we chatted about her music class, and when she said she had to get going to it, I accepted and she said it was nice to see me. Similarly during finals that year, she asked how I was during a run-in and I paused as she passed me and slowly ✌"followed"✌ her, very casually, just trying to converse. I asked if she was stressed about finals like me, she said not really, and that she had to get to her music performance. I wished her luck and she said it back. Also, a couple of times that year I sat in a study lounge she was at, pretending I didn't see her, hoping she'd come to me. Both times when she left, probably for class, we made eye contract, smiled, and waved. I was too shy and respectful to call her over and bother her. I hope she didn't think I was being a creep. I saw her last Aug. at Starbucks. I asked her how she'd been despite the quarantine (which had kept us apart for months), told her I'd been hanging in there when she asked how I was, and said I was nervous about careers after graduating. She asked if I knew what I wanted to be, and I said writer and maybe play director. Asked questions about her courses and desired career too. When her drink was ready, she said she had to go. I didn't want to miss my chance again, so I turned back and said "Oh and one more thing. I was thinking maybe you and I could catch up over a Starbuck sometime, since it's been a while." She said yeah maybe but she'd been pretty busy. I said I understood and that I just thought it'd be nice since it's been a while. I think she said "Well maybe I'll see you around on campus." I said it was good to see her and ditto. I saw her last finals, when she passed my table as I was working on an art project. After eye contact, she asked how I was doing, I took off an earbud, and said "Hey, it's been a while." She was walking to the exit, probably had stuff to do, and she said have a good night. I wished her luck with finals and she said, "Thanks, you too." Sadly, she might have a boyfriend. She was with some man at a checkout counter. I came and she asked how I was. I asked what she was doing on break and if she was looking forward to Xmas. I said it was too bad quarantine came and ended my plan to relax on campus at the schools lodge with a book and personal art (I told her I like to have me time on campus even during summer and winter break). She said whatever happens happens, and that the quarantine is for the bets. I said that was debatable and she laughed (I really think big quarantine is unnecessary if you wash/mask up). I told her I was glad finals was over, how long I'd be staying up for projects, and how I napped in the school's library when I was finally done. I think she said I deserved it or something. She often seemed distracted as she bagged groceries, and I'd say I was doing most of the talking and she was a bit quiet. When I felt I should let her be, I said it was good to see her and walked away as she said the same to me. Well, I guess I shouldn't ask about catching up again right? That she's probably taken and the next time I see her, I should just smile, wave, say hi, and go on with my day?

Ask her out man. Or atleast get close to her, talk to her. Dont let this be a regret in your heart forever. I once liked a guy lot in college. I dropped hints and casually flirted with him, but would take it back if he noticed them. He shifted colleges now and quarantine happened, and we got closer talking over the phone and I confessed that I liked him, to which he said "Oh I liked you too". We both are in different relationships, different cities now and here and there I'd think how it might have been if i were just a little more confident and a little less anxious. Atleast I wont have this a s a regret, right? Ask her out man. What's the worst that could happen?

The worst has already happened. I learned two nights ago she was engaged. I'm not so jolly this holiday. Can heartbreak really cure?

@@johnrainsman6650 yes, it surely can cure with the time but from now on you have to love yourself more. Maybe you both were meant to meet but not to be. I know it's very hard to accept the reality ( let it hurt then let it go) I believe in you "one day your heart will bloom again". I wish you to meet your special one in this upcoming years. 🎈🎉Happy New year 🎈🎉 [In advance] Edit: *"and what is meant to be will always find its way, ALWAYS."*
