I try to do the saloon scene but it didn't work. I already get 10 hearts and see the 10 hearts events of all the boyfriends, and girlfriends actually except Leah, I brought the rabbit foot and haven't seen the bad cutscene. Any help? do I need to see all the boyfriend AND girlfriend 10 hearts event to only see only the saloon or the Haley house cutscene?

Ok, so, I had this problem: Alex's 10 heart event is at the Saloon and he was the only one left. When his cutscene finished, the Group Event started and, even though I had a rabbit's foot with me, I didn't play 8-ball with the guys (which got me pissed because I'm playing without mods so it took me a long fucking time to get 10 hearts with everyone) Then I restarted the game and tried again and it didn't work (again). I thought that this was happening because there was a problem going on because I had 2 cutscenes at the same place. So I restarted the game again and tried the event at Haley's; I also had everyone up to 10 hearts and had already seen everyone's 10 heart event, so there wouldn't be any problem with 2 ctuscenes at the same place. I was with a rabbit's foot in my inventory and I still got the "caught dating everyone" cutscene instead of the "we're gossiping about the mayor lol" one Then I got pissed. I tried doing every event holding the rabbit's foot, with it in my inventory, with it on the "inventory bar thingy where you can select stuff" but not on my hand and nothing worked. So I used my slingshot and threw 20 rocks at Sebastian, went to Gus's, saw Alex's cutscene and proposed to him. Now, what I think that was the problem is: I was with an Iridium Quality Rabbit's Foot in my inventory, and for some fucking reason the game didn't consider quality rabbit's foot a proper rabbit's foot. I tried the events with Gold Quality Rabbit's Foot, but it also didn't work. In DF's attempts, he used a normal quality one and it worked. So, to everyone out there who want to try these events out, you might wanna consider having a Normal Quality Rabbit's Foot instead of anything else, really.

That is a long list of terms and conditions

I'm shocked they didn't add in a event for the wedding. Example being if you are going to marry someone and have someone else on the side as a boyfriend or girlfriend they make a huge scene at the wedding which leaves you standing alone at the alter.

Problem with that is that you can’t break up with someone in the game. If you decide you want to actually go for someone else while you have a gf/bf, you can’t break up with the previous person unless you marry someone else

There should be more "joint heart events" that develop multiple characters. Like you need X hearts with characters A and B, and then you get to see a scene with A and B. Would be nice to see how the villagers that never interact see each other! Like... Elliot and Maru, idk, just tossing out random pairings as an example.

That would be really nice! I've also always longed for something like the Harvest Moon series had about a decade+ back with rivals. (Tree of Tranquility, Animal Parade, (More) Friends of Mineral Town) Maybe something optional where you can push a candidate that you're not interested in to pursue their match via certain dialogue options. I'd like to see them be happy too.

However, it still involves you getting a bit too close to those characters in their ten-heart events even when you plan to marry somebody else. And if you marry before you max out those hearts, you risk giving your spouse the wrong idea by giving other romance candidates gifts.

That's not polyamorous because they don't *know* and thus don't *consent* to all being in a relationship with you at the same time. You simply got lucky that they didn't find about you dating all of them, so they didn't get mad, and you didn't lose any hearts.

"...and Mumps is ALWAYS feeling lucky." And GETTING lucky.

I checked in a save game file and there's an tag containing a list of integer IDs, so from that I'd wager that each event can only been seen once per save file, including different versions of the same event (so with or without a rabbit's foot doesn't matter, you only see it once). If you were to just clear that list you'd no doubt be able to see every single event again. I'd also wager it includes all of the cutscenes and not just heart events, so stuff like Demetrius asking you whether you want mushrooms or fruit bats as well. Seeing some of those more than once could very easily break the game, haha.

I'm so glad they added this, I didn't like not being able to ten heart poeple without consequences. A side option to ten heart poeple without dating them would be cool as well, but this gets the job done.

I wish there was another cutscene if you go to the grid ball game with Shane while married to Alex since Alex comes to watch the game as well and would see your character and Shane kiss. Maybe it could lead to Alex getting really angry and almost divorcing.

I'm not sure why but "Bright sunny 7 o'clock at night" just made me laugh so hard. Edit: lol for me its currently 7 pm and its f***ing bright and sunny IRL XD ahh spring/summer sucks

That's great! Now people who want to date everyone in game don't have to worry about downloading the mod to avoid the other cutscene!

You can only trigger one of the two events(lucky or unlucky) once per save file, so if you are trying this at home, remember it only works once.

I remembered the hard way on my new profile that you can only buy one copy of each item each Sunday from the traveling wagon. I saved up a ton of money in my first year to buy rare seeds but I could only get one.

You can always keep coming back, all throughout Spring and Summer :) if you go every Friday and Sunday you'll end up with 16 rare seeds. Rarely she'll sell multiples too - the last Sunday of Summer I was able to buy 5 of them on my current file!

Rhys: Hm, I guess I'm just going off of my current experiences on the beta. I've been fiddling with them recently, and on one file I couldn't get them in the winter, and I can't get them on my current save in the fall. I'll keep an eye out though! This could have just been a small glitch in the beta that's been patched up (I can't say things for past builds, simply because in the past I only worried about growing two: one for the statue in the forest, and one for selling).

I don't understand how it's possible for them to never find out. Are they aware of it and just fine with how that's going if you bring a rabbit's foot?? I always just assumed they all knew before that cutscene was added, it would be weird for all 5 of them to keep the fact that they are dating someone hidden from each other forever.

Like, i can see abigal and sam fitting into a relationship between themselves and the player whilst the player is also involved with sebastian in a way that is less involed with the "main cluster" as it were. Additionally i can see most if not all of the love interests not wanting to be in a polycule that involves shane given what a unstable mess he is. Mostly my frustration is that most if not all representation of polyamory we see in videogames feels flat and unrepresentative, with no true interaction between the participants beyond being called out for being a two timer because we werent actually given the choice to attempt to create a healthy polyamorous relationship.

Josh Legacy no that would imply that they are only in a relationship with the player character in a polycule they would have relationships with each other as well with the possible exception of Sebastian will now that I'm more think about it he probably be okay and being part of the main quest as well. I I group these three and the player character together because they have the most connection with each other and therefore the most feasible characters for a polyamorous relationship that doesn't feel empty as I specified earlier.

That is because it isn't meant to be representative. It is literally just put in there as fanservice. Like look at all these hot guys/girls who are fawning over you and ONLY you. They never have any romantic interaction with the other characters and are rarely even friends with any opposite sex characters that aren't their siblings or co-workers in some manner. That is just what it is.

I've been getting a very weird (unfinished??) cutscene with Lewis. I enter town and lewis is there together with your dog (but it is also the dog if you picked the cat) and a white chicken. He says: Y/N You're here. Okay...I guess I'd better introduce my pieces. Wish me luck! Umm...Okay everyone!' and then there is a very long pause until it eventually fades to black. I you skip the scene the game freezes.

Each save file can only get the cutscene once. It takes a week for the characters to stop being mad at you and start being friendly again

Each one only triggers either version(rabbits foot or no rabbits foot) once. So you can only see the scene with the boys once, regardless of which version, and the scene with the girls once, regardless of which version, per save file. Says so on the wiki

For some reason I think it's a bit out of character for Penny to not notice Marie and Lewis' affection for each other. Of course that depends on what she sees as "fishy." Maybe fishy could mean she doesn't notice they are dating, or doesn't notice they are trying to hide it. Well, Lewis seems to be hiding it more than Marie is.

Multiplayer and such will be out of beta when the developer feels all the major issues have been worked out and it's safe to release the game to everyone. There is no real time frame for these things, because that always leads to trouble.
