This show weirdly taught me so much about psychological/social aspect of human beings, idk how to explain this, i started watching love island uk ironically but then i started binge watching tons of seasons of it just to learn about humans interactions and what I learn from it : don’t trust people most of them aren’t loyal, they would dump you for a hotter person and would lie to your face 😂😂

@@FarahEmoticonna legit same I really grew to like everyone and like analyzing them haha in this season I loved shaughna and Paiges friendship and was actually impressed with how many people did actually stay true to themselves and were in this for love

Love island UK is actually where the show originated. This isn’t a great season, I’d recommend season 4! But you’d really have to see the couples change with new people etc. To really get a feel of each relationship! Loved the reaction though!!

I think their accents is what also makes the uk version a little better! When I first started watching the show I was lost too but you pick up on it after awhile. You even learn certain lingos lol

6:55 by not her type, she was referring to his height, nobody stepped forward (wanted him) at the beginning because he is 5’6, hope that helps, that’s also what he said at the pool which you didn’t quite hear, he said ‘I must need it since no one stepped forward for me’ to her saying she’s a beauty consultant, just breaking the ice that’s all, That guy did have the best banter with everyone throughout the series tbf and at one point was a national treasure in the uk 😂😂

I think Americans prefer posh accents cause thats usually what they hear in shows but the majority do not sound like that lmaoo. You guys aren’t used to hearing the different accents from different cities...watch Eastenders 😭. people with posh accents are usually rich lol e.g the queen (Tbh certain accents are hard to understand so I get it lol)

Our humour is great. And found it funny how you couldn’t really understand our accents. Loved what you took from this video.💗

@@grimjowjaggerjak yeah but that makes sense, as the material you are taught in French schools, are American accent and spelling based. So its a completely different situation when you are comparing a native speaker with a foreign learner.

@@Stephiabeauty I‘m German and I feel like we don’t really hear many different accents tbh. I read in previous comments that in most british shows people talk in a posh accent when that really isn’t representative.

Definitely agree with the comments that the best and more genuine examples of behaviour will be from the earlier series. Oh and I don’t think I’ve ever heard a single person who sounds like Sophie in my entire life( I’m British from London)! Your observations of British culture are so interesting! Such a meta experience to watch. You’re also such a generous spirit I love it!

We would love to see a part 2 for sure! This is a good season to analyze for sure and if you can't do all episodes, definately do the casa amor one where the boys come back and test if they stayed loyal to the girls they were coupled up with. It's really emotional and would be great to get your take on it from a dating expert.

Yeah did they restrict them from smoking because there was a lot of smoking s1, 2 and 3 but I’m on s4 and no one has smoked yet.

They are still aloud to smoke they just don’t film it anymore. Same as sex scenes they stopped showing that too. Too many complaints

It’s mostly to help them with their careers once they come out of the villa. A few that have been on the show have commited suicide do to getting hate.

Fun fact: there’s not a lot of alcohol. The producers limit their drinks to 2 a day, and that can only be something like beer or wine, no spirits!!

Whenever I was watching this I predicted that once Leanne came out of her shell she'd realize her and Mike weren't compatible. That ended up happening. I loved this season so much there wasn't a whole lot of drama like the past seasons. in terms of analyzing people I had so much fun watching this season. Like everyone throughout the season stay true to themselves and are good people and not gonna spoil it but it ends in some good couples that are still together. I do feel like Callum stuck with Shaughna until he found someone better. But everyone in this season they just have such nice conversations and its easy to watch.

Please do more of these! I think this season could have some really good talking points for you and it’s so entertaining. And from someone who is not British, it definitely gets easier to understand the strong accents. I’d recommend using subtitles though just in case!
