@@dianana7371 I wanted to say exactly this, just be you! I'm an introvert and always tried to be more extraverted, but I'm just not. And now that I've accepted that I'm way more confident, sociable and radiant. So... just be authentic!

They both are Leo. Ben is not full of himself. He just like/love/fancy Jen and he wants to look in her eyes his best. That’s what Leo DO. He is intellectual and ambitious and this is something that Jen admires in him. Also he is good looking. Jen is literally “a girl from the neighbourhood”. Easy to talk to and happy to share her happiness with others. Let’s also not forget that she is naturally very beautiful and Leo males have a thing for good looking women. In addition she is also smart, intelligent and ambitious and to be honest it would be hard for Ben to not fall in love with her. They became friends because they both have seen/fell “a spark”. Something that drawn their both to each other. Trust me Leo’s chose who they want to be friends with. They just found their perfect match, someone who understands them without saying anything.

Loved this. I've been married to my bestfriend for 16 yrs now. I love that we have that to fall back on when things get rocky. We have a child, and 2 businesses together. It's very important to start a relationship as friends so you can really bond and grow and root that connection. much love.

I hope Ben and JLo work out this second time around. They are older, wiser, have established careers. And they came back together almost 20 years later. He may be recovering. But it is something you will always work at. Jlo does not drink or smoke, so she is good for him. You can see the love between them. When Ben saw the opportunity that she may be available, he went for her. And because the love is still there, she went back. True love, people.

IDK why I root so much for Bennifer but I do. I want these crazy kids to work out

I don't think he's full of himself. He's a New Englander. I definitely thinks he has problems but I think he's an overall "real" type of man. I agree. I remember an interview I saw with them in their kitchen when they were engaged and she was so loud and so dominated the whole conversation and I could tell it made him uncomfortable and I just felt they weren’t going to stay together.

just wanted to add, they started off as friends mainly because jlo was married at the time. They met 2 months after she got married to Cris Judd. Ya know, after watching this I think I’ve figured out what broke them up (as a main issue)! I bet it was his private and non-pap preferences versus her too open style and preference for being in spotlight so much, because especially back then she was really still building her name and “celebrityhood” or whatever you call it. Even that Jenny from the block video had references to paparazzi following and taking pics of them as a couple. I’ve never paid much attention to either of them so I don’t know if he’s always trying to be this private but it seems like he would because he’s not one of the people I’ve ever heard much about in entertainment news outside of his two big relationships with Jennifers lol.

It's so true this thing about gender roles. I too believe that whoever is most capable and has the desire to do whatever but even more important, enjoys doing the activity, would be the person for it. Responsibilities such as cooking, cleaning, paying the bills, making plans, working, taking care of the kids, making plans, should not be designated by gender, etc... I believe that it is not set in stone either. I think that there will be less friction in the relationship when a couple can switch these activities from time to time and it makes everything more enjoyable by breaking the monotony and putting yourself in other shoes could help to better understand your significant other and makes the couple ore versatile and successful.

I used to be the biggest Affleck hater, like truly lol, but when I saw behind the scenes from his Kevin Smith movies, I understood him better. I don't know why, but it all just clicked in my head. I didn't see him a as this huge douche anymore, he's actually pretty silly, witty and self-deprecating. I can't see his doucheness anymore, even during this reaction I have no idea what you're talking about. It's so weird. Maybe it's something that comes off as stand-offish at first. I think I personally can have that same quality before people get to know me, I have been told. It's a mixture of maybe giving off a certain first impression that doesn't quite match your insides, having a specific sense of humour and being rather timid or guarded.

Imo I think they broke up cause their careers were more important and they were still establishing themselves, especially Jennifer. Gigli kinda brought them down and they recognized that and both made an amicable decision 🤷🏾‍♀️

So funny that’s Jlo really was so giggly in that interview after that interview all the other men she dated after her and Ben break up. In her interview she was not giggly like this even when she was dating Arod I never saw her get really giggly in interview she was serious and didn’t only ever said he supportive business like minded he good dad that it really there wasn’t this glowing look that I only ever saw her have with Marc and Ben. Look when God bought back Bennifer 18 years laters Jlo once again been giggly in every single one of her interview seen being with Ben her energy vibes complete different she look happy calm and at peace. Even her long time friend Roda said it to that she interview her loads of time including when Jlo was with her ex Arod but she never seen Jlo at her peace and calm ever that it a different kind of enegry. Jimmy the presenter said the same Jlo mum prayed for 20 years for Jlo to get back with Ben.
