    1. find someone secretly: take your desires to God in the secret place. submit your desires to Him. trust Him with the desires of your heart. 2. find someone in (a church) service: someone who is part of the Body of Christ 3. find someone serving: serving God + people. 4. find someone seeking (God). Matt 6:33 (seek first His Kingdom + His righteousness). Is God truly Lord over that person’s life? 5. find someone serious: person with godly character, integrity in a man: he should be a picture of Christ (obviously only Christ is perfect, but he should love + lead like Christ) - love that is self-sacrificial

Hey. I felt the same way a few years ago. I was too broken to date someone, especially after my ex broke up with me. I felt lonely during the time of singleness and while I was in a season of singleness, God worked in me and transformed me first before I met my current boyfriend now. I had to work on myself first in my relationship with Christ before I began to date him. I am honestly very grateful for the Lord to work in me. And as He worked in me and through me, I also prayed for a husband that God will put in my life because I believed that God placed marriage in my heart. Keep your eyes on Jesus. It takes time and a lot of prayer, but He hears you! Keep seeking Him always.

I love the Frankenstein reference. Recently I got briefly involved with a non-Christian. To make a long story short, when it started, just as an acquaintance, I had no idea it would go where it went. But we got very close (emotionally), spent hours talking every single day, for 3-4 months, and sadly, our conversations ended up in a sexual territory after some time, as deeper feelings came into the scene. Thankfully, nothing truly physical ensued, as we did not get to meet that often and it was partly long-distance when he went abroad for over a month. I think I loved him, or something close to that anyway. We broke it off a month ago (thanks to God's intervention, I believe, because I wouldn't be able to stop myself as we had become VERY, VERY attached) but to this day I still experience moments of sadness and I still miss him, even though I know it had no chance of thriving. And I am sorry for allowing myself to even get there, I never ever dated anyone in my 29 years of life, so it caught me unawares. I've learned so so much from the experience but the scars and heartbreak are there, and it had awaken something in me, that shouldn't, and some of our conversations are difficult to erase from memory. And I think I did give him a part of my heart. It just wasn't worth it, and I see that I was deceived, justifying it all somehow, though deep down I knew I should not have pursued this. And I didn't at first, it started off as a friendship with my intention to share the Gospel with him, but it left us both hurt, as we had to end it due to the differences. He knew I was a Christian, and it would simply not work out in the long run. Now the only thing I can do is to pray for him and hope God can still make it work for my good (as I hope I've learned my lesson) and I pray that God will touch him some way, so that he might come to know Jesus. I care about him still (the guy). God bless you all as you seek His will in this. He is good, even when we mess up and He wants what's good for us, even if for some of us, it might not be a spouse. I like to quote Psalm 84:11 to myself these days: "For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord will give favor and glory, for no good thing will He withhold from the one who walks uprightly."

Ever since I’ve started to grow closer to God a few months ago, I’ve developed a strong love for people around me, to help them and to be polite. I find myself doing polite gestures for people every single time I get the chance because of a strong urge to do so. I never get angry anymore, I stay calm or sometimes happy. But over time I’ve also started to develop a very strong feeling to love somebody else in a romantic way, I want to make someone else happy, and to feel the warmth of someone else in a hug so badly. Sometimes it even feels like my chest is going to explode because of how bad the desire is, but I remain composed and as of right now I’ve suppressed it by trusting that God will make it happen soon, when the time is right. Thank you for this video, I’ve recently stopped praying to God about romantic love because I wanted to focus on him, and when I saw this video I had a strong urge to watch it through, but now I will pray to God about it again, letting him know everything of how I feel about it. This is also after I found out that a prayer has no expiration date.

And then mar mari said : "find a woman who knows Jesus Christ" and Alex also says the same thing. They were both referring to different verses but yet still came to the same conclusion.

But I must seek her out. The problem is I only want a Proverbs 31 woman as I plan to be a Proverbs 31 man. I'm a recent engineering master's grad that just moved to Missouri (US). What some suggestions. Who do I need to find myself in the company of? I know church is the main place to look. Are there any other places I should frequent or should I wait for life to occur?

I am a mother of 28 - and 30 year old single successful Christian sons needing to marry. I told them that just as God presented Eve to Adam, He already has that divine encounter pre destined. I tell them they will know because of a spiritual affinity that defies logic. The steps of the righteous are ordained by the Lord. My elder son talks about compatibility, shared goals, and morals,my youngest trusts what I say because it's the Word of God. I tell them it has nothing to do with searching and qualifying, education, money, and family background because God knows, and it will all be aligned in most ways. I have since realized that professing to be a Christian is not the same as being a born-again Christian. Pray for the Will of God to accomplish this in Christ Jesus' name through the Power of His Holy Spirit Amen.

Ik dating is a good thing but yk I’ve come to the conclusion that it’s just not gonna happen where I am in life. I’m in high school and I wanna date to marry a person and that’s not likely to happen where I am right now bc everyone’s young immature and we’re only here for 4 years. A lot of the people around me are looking to get into surface level “talking-stages” as we call it where they do all the little cute things that often end as quick as they start. And yk maybe it’s God saying I’m not ready for at as I am now.

That’s called ghosting my brother😭😭….she may be trying to end things. I never liked the idea of ghosting as it doesn’t allow the other person at least a bit of closure. I think everyone deserves respect when it comes to things like this. I think to myself “At least say you’re done, don’t just leave/say nothing and disappear” but hey who am I? People do as they wish these days with no regard for others or for God. Keep your head up man, Jesus loves you, find genuine contentment in that. It’s hard, but the peace and love you receive from Christ is more than you can imagine.

I would love if you broke down this verse "To the woman he said, “I will make your pains in childbearing very severe; with painful labor you will give birth to children. Your desire will be for your husband, and he will rule over you.” It pains me everytime I hear it, since i dont think its true that the man should rule over the woman. How would you break this down? I love your videos they bring so much joy in my relationship with Jesus. Amen

‭1 Corinthians 7:4 ESV‬ [4] For the wife does not have authority over her own body, but the husband does. Likewise the husband does not have authority over his own body, but the wife does.

“As a result of the fall, man no longer rules easily; he must fight from his headship. Sin has corrupted both the willing submission of the wife and the loving headship of the husband. The woman’s desire is to control her husband (to usurp his divinely appointed headship), and he must master her, if he can. So the rule of love founded in paradise is replaced by struggle, tyranny and domination.” (Susan T. Foh, cited in Boice)
