Is there another video for Final Cut Pro showing how to do this in a similar way? ( I guess I can figure it out). Thanks!

Will there be an update to da Vinci to include this in the color chart presets?

@@DatacolorSpyder I only see the Spyder Checkr 24 not the Checkr Video In Davinci Resolve. Hoping to see the preset included in a future Davinci update 😊 (I have the current paid version)
Great video... but after you adjust for camera, what do you do with the results. Make this an adjustment layer... a LUT? How do you apply the results to the timeline that you are working on?

Hi, depending on the video editing application the corrections will be applied to to time line. The corrections are created via the Spyder Checkr Video in combination with the Waveform monitor / Vectorscope functions from the video editing application. Thank you so much. Can you tell me what the yellow square following the mouse is in the screen recording that has annotation?

I've been scouring KZread for answers on color calibration, and there's one question I can't seem to find a definitive answer to. From what I gather, calibrating my images at the outset of a scene with consistent, static lighting shouldn't pose any issues. However, I'm uncertain about what happens if the lighting conditions change during shooting-such as shooting outdoors with shifting weather or moving the camera to a different room with varied colored lighting. Should I use the calibration card each time the lighting changes, or is once at the start of the shoot sufficient to maintain accurate colors throughout?

Hi for maximum quality a new reference shot would be the best. If you need help or have additional questions, please contact our support team at: goto.datacolor.com/spydersupportform This is the fastest way to answer your questions. Your Datacolor Team
Can you please sell the grayscale card by itself? I don't need to match multiple cameras, but I just need to set my contrast and WB.

Does it goes good when I shoot RAW and set in Resolve to rec 709? Or to use it, do I have to shoot in Prores?
@DatacolorSpyder

Hi, depending on your camera, pls convert to 709 or use the correct LUT for your camera first. If you need help or have additional questions, please contact our support team at: goto.datacolor.com/spydersupportform This is the fastest way to answer your questions. Your Datacolor Team
Can you use a Datacolor Spyder Checkr Photo to do the same thing as shown in this video?
@DatacolorSpyder

Hi, the Spyder Checkr Photo does not come with values for the Vectorscope function. Very soon we will offer replacement cards that will allow the Spyder Checkr Photo to use cards from the Spyder Checkr Video and vice versa as they are using the same card format and the cards are exchangeable. @@DatacolorSpyder Thank you very much that would be useful to have interchangeable cards.
I have tried and tried and every time when I'm done making the adjustments, it looks worse. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong.
