Data Migration - SAP S/4 Hana Cloud (Migrate your Data)
The migration process using the Data Migration Cockpit App can be broadly broken down into 9 steps as shown below. Some of these steps need to be performed only once while the rest need to be performed every time a migration is performed.
1. Setup Migration Project in S/4HANA Cloud
2. Activate migration object(s)
3. Download template(s)
4. Populate template(s)
5. Upload template(s)
6. Prepare staging tables
7. Perform Mapping Tasks
8. Perform Simulation
9. Migrate data

Hi Ashok, really nice job, however, what I found using this tool is that you cannot use the same migration object for another project, even if you delete the project locking the object, unless you create your project perfectly from the start. How can you create more than one project for the same migration object? Many thanks in advance!

No transport is required here. Its all template based. Pre-defined.
Once data upload if we want to change any existing data then how to do it in hana cloud

Can anyone help? We tried you upload data on MYD but some error occurred : "You are using the Migration Cockpit and / or the Migration Object Modeler to migrate data to SAP S/4 HANA. The runtime object cannot be generated because the migration object description contains a single quotation mark symbol."

Check your template on each page your error itself has the solution. It’s says you got some quotation mark symbol added remove that and try running the migration again. Also, try to add the data in new template and try to upload and check.
