I don't follow you. I just randomly came across your video but three years ago I was 110,000 in debt after opening a business and covid shut me down!! I started doing gig work on the side of my normal job just to pay the debt down .. after three years I'm now down to $9,000! Only paying off my debt with gig work after work.. You go girl, you can do it. It works!

My advice is always have a monetary goal and an hourly goal. Say you goal is to make $130 in 8 hours but you make the $130 in 5 hours. I ALWAYS still work those additional 3 hours and track how much I’ve made over my original goal at the end of each week. I only do this as a side gig (about 16 hours per week) and my goal is to always make $320 by the end of the week (averaging $20/hour).

I always keep rolling when I hit my goal early. But I don't have kids to go home to. For some people, taking time to be with family might be more important than that extra $60.

My weekly goal is 35-40 completed orders. But doordash decided to change the program. 100 deliveries within 30 days. Not being the 1sr of the month . They count from when you hit 100, roll overs, . 12am your rate changes and deliveries are within 30 days goes down @12am. California, bayarea, Contra Costa County

Same here…i started with postmates back in 2019 December because there was no wait list and easy to get approved …then I join door dash and ubereat next. And the grub hub last due to the waiting time for them in nyc. Then i joined relay delivery, hungry panda, and fantuan delivery. My first year in delivery doing part time, i made around $30k then earning drop dramatically the 2nd and 3rd year. I got deactivated by ubereat cause they caught me doing multi-app. Hungry and fantuan got no money and ban drivers in nyc cause they can’t afford to pay the new $29.93/active hr in nyc. I have over 6000 deliveries between all of them. Now I’m only doing door dash specifically in nyc with the $29.93/active hr. I can’t get on grubhub cause they restrict driver getting on w/o scheduling and have to be premier

I like you. Most people I watch who are dashers started doing more bitching about new tier policy than just dashing. I left the 9 to 5 three years ago and even though it’s been tuff just dashing my mental health is better. Word of advice start saving $20 a day take it out in cash and stash it in a lockbox. I’ve saved $10,000 in a year starting with $20 a day and now $35. I quit habits like thrifty spending on eating out and subscriptions to things I don’t use like Amazon prime so it got easier. Try it girl you will be out of debt before you know it. Keep going girl you got this

Your angst with the gig life is so relateable. I've been 1 app'ing it since August (UberEats) and my last half dozen outings have been complete waste's of time. I've made up my mind that one day this week I'm gonna hit it and everything is on the line. I'm fortunate enough to be recently retired from the Phliadelphia Fire Dept and am doing this for something to do. It is incredibly frustrating. This next outing had better be, at the very least, reasonably lucrative or I'm out. Loving your content. Keep your head up and don't let it defeat you.

You are booming and your orders are coming through back to back. I love it. I do uber eats only and the orders don’t come in as quickly as yours are. You may be in a hotter city for food delivery but you can definitely reach your goals with how quickly your orders come in + the variety of pay. I take all of my orders because they’re so inconsistent that if you don’t take them, you don’t know how frequent you may get another. I’ve sat waiting for orders to come through. I wouldn’t be able to rely on it as full time because it’s so inconsistent but when it’s good, it’s good and when it’s not, it’s not. It’s all day by day but you having two different apps available is a golden ticket of an idea. I’d say work it, girly!!💕 Good luck out there this month!!🚗🥙🌮❤

Like you I had no free time. I felt like a prisoner although I was not in a cell I felt chained to the job. I finally left and found another job, less money but I had my free time and free weekends. I had PTSD from the first job, it took me a while to let go of the anxiety and stress caused by the first job.

What job are you currently working from home. I need something like that too, for times that I can't drag my autistic son on deliveries with me. lol

Guys!!! It’s the first of the month so cash your checks and come on!!!I made my $100 in 4 hours. It’s the first and the third of the month that’s why the orders were great!!! I wish it could be every day.

I did "ubs" (love the slang. I got sick of low orders no tips. I now do uber rides. It's scary cuz sometimes sketchy ppl come in my jeep. I quit my w2 for the exact same office drama u mentioned in a previous video. I now teach yoga and uber in between. I'm learning to not worry about my acceptance rate. Have you considered Uber ride share? Eats I find pays so little.

Honestly I would love to do DD full time but it isn't possible where I live without going in the city about 1 hour north of me. So I keep my dispatcher jobs and do DD when I can. I don't like my job really but it satisfies my noisiness and I have free health insurance. Might be worth looking into if you can do it.
