I'd say it IS perfect. The driver hits right on the bass.

So many incidents from people that get in the wrong lane and refuse to own their mistake. Just go the wrong way and find somewhere else to turn around. Very simple, but so many people now think so selfishly. I was taught that mistakes are fine, just use it as a learning situation, then find a way to rectify it a little further down the road.

Did it once in a small town I'd never been to before - turned left (USA) and the street looked like it was 4 lanes wide...oh no, it was 8 lanes with a huge median between the two directions and NO lines on the road to indicate where to go. Rectified at the first opening. That was over 40 years ago!

Because many of them are new to Australia and have inherited the lifetime habit of driving on the opposite side of the road in their country of origin. Try driving in Europe or the USA. It is very easy to slip up on occasion unless you are concentrating really hard.

It's a sign that the old guy never learned to own your mistake and turn around somewhere else. Another case of bad drivers never miss their exit.

The KFC drive through clip at 7:05 is right near when I work, and can I tell you that the whole carpark is actually the most poorly designed part of Australia centered into 30 square meters. That car park has two entrances and only on exit, the main entrance shown here backs up almost instantly cause the KFC is super slow and busy all the time. The car going through the opposing lane to get to the rest of the shops is actually a really common occurrence here, as well as people turning right out of the exit even though it's a left only. There's a fire station exit point smack bang in the middle of this whole cluster fuck which is why it's a don't turn right. The rest of the carpark is also a bit of a night mare with multiple one-ways that don't make any sense for the flow of the carpark (which is especially when there's just 1 single lane exit like this) The KFC drive through exits straight into the only other entrance which is directly off the nearby highway and there's no give way signs so there's a lot of honking and swearing with people not giving way to one another. This terrible mix of traffic slowing from the highway combining with distracted drivers sorting out their new food and drink then merges into yet another no give way signed merge with the other entrance which is the only other place you have to drive along if you're not going to the KFC. (Thats where those two lane-jumping cars were headed to off-screen.)

Presumably due to a large influx of drivers recently arrived from a country where they drive on the Right hand side of the road, rarely use indicators to signal their intentions, and have a penchant for driving Mercedes sedans or various flavours of SUVs.

Though the sign is not terribly clear if buses ONLY are excepted during those times. Or if right turns are allowed outside those times and buses are always excepted.
