I was actually keeping my eye on the Mustang, so the actual outcome to the video came as a bit of a surprise.

If he'd not taken up cycling, the hill wouldn't have existed, and the driver could have seen the oncoming car, and chosen to not pass the cyclist who wouldn't have been there anyway since he didn't take up cycling.

Thank God for Dashcam, I was involved in a recent collision where I was in a s-lane and was t-boned by another vehicle who failed to give way to me. I uploaded the footage to my I-phone, transferred it my PC, then sent it to my insurance company, based on the footage I was not at fault for the collision. For those people who don’t have a dashcam in their cars, get one you won’t regret it.

12:00. If you listen closely, the cam guy actually says "Do I know you?" to the Merc SUV guy. The SUV guy answered the question "... I'm from Channel Nine". So the SUV wasn't really big noting himself. He simply explained why the cam guy recognised him. The video does however explain why so many Mercedes SUVs are unable to reverse. They simply cannot.

The thing is that if you miss a turn off, the GPS will actually still direct you where to go. Not a lot of people know this.

Even if you are doing 100k... if you are in the right lane and cannot get over to the left immediately because it is not safe to do so, you will still get some knobhead, up your ass telling you to just GO LEFT to appease him and cut off a vehicle in the left lane.

So many of the cammers were oblivious they're sitting in the overtaking lane for no reason..

The rule requiring drivers entering roundabouts to give way to any vehicle already in the roundabout does NOT say give way only to vehicles using their indicator.

This channel has become my go to when I eat food. Perfect time to watch while eating and it’s always so entertaining because some people can be just stupid on roads 😂

Really!!! if the road toll is to be bought down then a lot of these clips should be investigated properly by a proactive police force Number plates are clearly visible in a lot of clips .

Any of these videos can be sent to police but they need to be accompanied by a witness statement from the dash cam operator. The DC operator also needs to agree to attend court and give evidence if the (alleged) offender challenges any penalties imposed by police. Rules of evidence.

My comment was based on a defence lawyer maybe being able to argue the case based on if the DC displayed wrong time and date, but thats just me thinking out loud.I have no idea if that would actually be a defence if someone was indeed charged based on one of these videos You'd hope there are police out there looking at this footage and taking some sort of action.

in SA you'd get 2 tickets and then spend 2 years fighting the duplicates, plus the late fees, only to give in because you can't defeat the SA bureaucracy.

@@BryanM63 yes, I got booked in Qld for rego being "unpaid" even though we'd tried to paid it online and it failed. I got a fine, and then a week later got the second charge for the rego, and no amount of reasoning got me anywhere. (not without lawyers, which i wasn't inclined to get into). So i paid rego twice, AND got a fine for being unregistered! I did at least get the second payment reversed, and still, this insanity doesn't touch the BS i've endured in SA.

Bleeping out the swearing? On a Dash Cams Australia compilation? What is this strange new world order?

@@JohnSmith-yv6eq I have seen similar DC videos of the load still being firmly attached. Even some of a single axle trailer behind a car with both on their sides with the load still anchored. Most people use ratchet straps these days but forget to retension them after a short distance, or after rain, so the load shifts after a while throwing balance out.

I've seen a lot of crazy stuff on this channel over the years, but never once did I ever expect to find a driver listening to Ricky Martin in 2022. That's just bizarre.
