That's what we did with a 18 wheeler tire that came off the overpass and into the lake we were playing in. we washed the tire off, rim and all and was having fun. But then again we were 12 or so then. The trucker came back and actually asked very nicely if he could have the tire back and we pushed it ashore and started rolling it to him. Most fun we had with an accidental cast off

I know a few people who did once they became fully licensed drivers; one has written off two cars with accidents she caused, another has received so many driving fines she's lost her licence twice in as many years. OP said the people that drive on the wrong side of the road in Australia are probably from left-hand drive countries, as in countries with cars that have the wheel on the left-hand side, which makes them left-hand drive. Countries with left-hand drives (LHD) drive on the opposite side of the road.

Cops don't care. Someone ran a red, hit me, drove away and only pulled over after myself and another car followed them. Cops didn't care. Wouldn't attend scene because no injuries. I went to a police station and they basically said it's too much effort to follow it up.

@@CRCinAU Is it a pedestrian or a road vehicle? He came to the front of the line on the pedestrian crossing then decided to ride slowly across 2 lanes of road. Can't have it both ways.

It was pleasing to see that the driver with right of way at 1:56 was aware enough to hit the brakes and avoid an accident, often it seems that many of these accidents were avoidable, glad this one was!
