I’m having problems with the CarPlay songs title and artist not being displayed on my vehicle information screen that’s in front of the steering wheel, all that shows are the radio stations presets. Is there something that I need to do to display song titles?

As of right now I think that option was for the original head unit. For me it says source then stations and when I cycle through the sources nothing shows. I think this can be fixed but I am currently contacting Dasaita to see if it’s a code issue to do with factory settings. When they get back to me I will let you know in the comments

My reverse camera is actually stock so it was compatible to the installation.

Hey, thanks. Great video, very detailed. How did you know which wires you had to use and which ones to tape? Also did you need to connect F1 and F2? Early in the video you said you would have to, but didn't get if you actually had to. Did you have to disconnect the car battery while doing the install?

Battery is best to be disconnected I mentioned in the video. It was about 20 degrees when I was doing the install so I rushed through things and forgot to disconnect the battery. F1 and f2 do not have to be connected. I actually matched everything up according to the small labels on the wires very confusing but once you read them and connect then it’s all about getting them together and tapping them up. You will see that one harness connects like 20 wires in one shot. I taped anything that would rattle and cause a spark. Hope this helped.

Do you have the link where you ordered this updated radio? The ones that I’ve found online don’t have the HDMI outlet in the back.

Hey bud. I went and ordered directly from Www.Dasaita.com and looked for the unit according to my vehicle. I wasn’t sure about the harness code so I went and contacted them through chat. It’s best to take pictures of what you’re specifically asking for because of the language barrier. They are very knowledgeable as far as details come. So as long as you tell them what you need in the back of the unit they can steer you the right direction. With that being said they will push you to purchase through them directly, if you go that route you must let them know exactly what you need and for the vehicle make model and unit that you currently have. Hope this helps!

There is a wire that does connect to the Bose system because of the speaker in the middle of your dash. I would say yes. They should have a wire harness that is specifically for the Xtrail. Take pictures of your radio and Bose speaker and send it to them. They will help you.

Great video. One quick question, did you ever need to solder or install any wires for the Remote Start? Or does that not have any affect with this install?

No solder at all. It's all about removing them panels carefully so that none of the wires snap on you. And other than the provided hardware only thing needed was the facra C cable

Hey man, can I ask which model you got? Your video is super helpful, I have a 2017 Nissan rogue SV. And I ordered the PX4 model. But my cabling is a little bit different than yours and it seems like it's not actually compatible Do you know the exact model that you bought? Because whatever you bought is exactly what I need for my car. I have two cables on my harness and my box looks very different than your bed rag box with only one harness cable

​@adrielmendez5859 you have to assign the buttons like a short cut. So the menu button I assigned it to do the 360 camera when I long press it and when I press it again it shows the right side of the vehicle zoomed in. Then again when I long press it the camera shuts off. Hope that helps.

Yes the unit itself has a mic built in to it

And the pink cable from the car is for? I had to watch your video before I order the unit - now I have to search for that small cable for the GPS :)

The pink cable after doing some research it’s for the satellite radio. SiriusXM. Dasaita let’s you know that they do not support SiriusXM, but in fact you can download the application and it works just as the original head unit with more channels and functions. I also removed some add on’s with SiriusXM that I was paying for and no longer needed. And yes you can mention to Dasaita that you have GPS already in the vehicle and you need the cable to connect to it. The unit is well worth the buy if you install it yourself you are saving about 500 to 700 usd on installing depending on who you bring it to. Varies by state. I’m in NYC so labor is very expensive here.

There is a wire included which is a usb A that attaches on to the back of the existing oem usb port. I am currently using my existing OEM usb port that has the aux input and both work exactly as it did before the installation of the unit.

That is a Facra C cable to coaxial it doesn’t come with the unit. They only supply KZreadrs with it so that they can do the reviews effortlessly. They sell that cable on Amazon. Hope this helps

I 100% mentioned it in the first 10 minutes of the video a few times. I went through the same problem but I actually caught it before the unit arrived so I got the cable in time for my set up.

There is an antenna for the Wifi once you screw that in it should work. And that cable is for the existing GPS in the vehicle. It connects to the wiring for the GPS antenna already built in the vehicle. They also provide a gps antenna but you would have to run the wire and for me that want something I wanted to do. Hope this helps.
