every time an ambitious card is performed by magicians, the late Daryl will be remembered.
So beautiful. Rest in peace brother 🙏❤️...
My favorite addition he made to this routine is when he tied the deck up with rope and had an audience member tear a corner. Such a brilliant mind. Everyone who does the “Hot Shot” has this man to thank for it.
Miss him in 2024😢
He’s gotten soooo much better since this performance it’s crazy, he’s perfected the “move”

The addition of tying the deck with rope is one of my favorite endings to any ACR I’ve ever seen. Such a genius in the magic arts. He will be missed. May he rest in peace
Very few today are fluid as he was. What a ride every time. He got the skill and his unique personality. He is ( was-is-will be) a beacon to everyone who have the desire to honor the art.
My favourite part is 5:00 where he misses his move and immediately recovers super naturally and calmly.

Mine too! I would try to recover as well, but I would be very nervous and I don't think anyone could do it as smoothly as Daryl could. This also goes to show that even MASTER magicians aren't flawless

I agree but this shows how beautifully masteragicians can recover though hence making them masterful performers

Micheal is right. It’s not mistake. Daryl has explained several way to get break. I’ve learned it from him. I think he tried not to get break always same way. That’s why “he recovered super natural” because it’s just part of routine.

@@nanashi4753 not really, although that's a way to get a break you can see him attempt to do another type of double and not be able to grab the second card. watch again and you'll see.
I thought practicing to the perfect what I have learnt some Card tricks I will become a master some day but outsmarting this guy would be impossible 😄👍
He spies the love of fans and friends from behind the curtain. From the 4th Dimension the reality of magic is certain. "So far, so what", a humble boast. Yet he now resides as King of the Castle, to whom we all give toast. Cheers to the Magician's Magician!
Master of the art.
Beautiful…I get so inspired every time I watch Daryl work.
A Master Magician!
Amazing flawless world class
My ...... GOD this guy was good! I perform an ambitious card routine in my act, but so help me if I could do half the stuff this guy could do! That first move with the jokers, I knew what he was doing but it STILL got me! 30 years as a magician and I still have so much to learn!
3:36 Dear god what a gifted man (hot shot cut)
RIP to a legend. If anyone is a burgeoning young magician, I highly recommend getting “The Encyclopedia of Card Sleights by Daryl.” It’s PHENOMENAL, and one of my favorite go to VHS 📼 tapes (it’s that old).
Master!!
Flawless
Amazing
Wow that second part with calculation is very convincing
Excelente!!!
R.I.P one of my favorite master magicians
Daryl was one of the very very top close up magicians. He was brilliant and wonderful in both his presentation and execution. His depression and death was a tragedy that should have turned out differently with just a little luck but it was not to be. .
Daryl reminds me a lot of Steve Martin back then.

He actually did a lot of Robin Williams impressions on his old videos
the greatest
Does anyone know how after he fans the cards, he pushes one up slightly? Thanks in advance.

He was so cool…loved watching him.
This guy is a goof ball. Criss Angel walks on water when he performs!
That was like what? 12 phases?! 😅
