I have loved this song when Ric Segreto sang it; it brings memories of youth and college days in Manila. "I'm a hopeless romantic..." rings true even now, three decades later, even when my eyes are wide open to the experience of true love. And this Daryl Ong, he brings it... to another level. Ang sarap pakinggan, he is crisp, sincere and just tugs at my heart. However Ric Segreto's voice, it's like a first love you never forget.

That raspiness - there are people who think it odd that someone singing RnB has that 'rocker' rasp because 'good RnB singers should have smooth voices and the rasp makes his voice sound tired'. I think that the rasp is wonderful as it makes his voice all the more special.

When the Filipino sings OPM, he sings most exceptionally, and excellently. It's when we become world class. Animo Daryll Ong!
the crisp of his voice is everything, plus the skills of the keyboardist is superb!
What I hate about revivals and covers is that they try to improvise so much that it hardly sounds like the original. This version, on the other hand, was subtly and masterfully done. Great job Daryl for doing the song justice! And thank you Wish 107.5 for giving him the opportunity. Have a great day everyone! :)

Actually pwede pa rin po magAutotune kahit live :) yung ibang nagcoconcert may autotune din. If I’m not mistaken may autotune ito pero pang linis lang ng background noise. Di ko sinasabi pangit boses niya ha! Autotune in the hands of the best singers talagang mas 👌🏻👌🏻 Para talaga yan sa kanila and not sa mga try-hard.

His voice is so underrated. This guy deserves more fame than what he's getting, that's if he even has a career now. He should expand his audience outside of the philippines. His runs are so on point, he can play with any songs melody thus making it his own.

He does have a career - as a singer and now record producer. But yes, I do AGREE that he's underrated and deserves more fame than whatever he's having right now. Although I think his vocal stylings are way before his time - in the Philippines (where jazz/R&B fusion and flipping songs are exotic animals that seem to be 'feared' by a lot. LOL). He is and will be better appreciated outside of it. IMO.
