Agree 💯. It's about a 3 month wait from now. I can't wait when the show is back on, but we will see what happens. Just gotta have patience that's all.

James thanks to you. We stay invested. GIMPLE truly should send ya commission. I think we all came up with great theories, narratives and ideas that are better then their writers. Many of us dig deep trying to connect things. I know I went off the deep end thinking that the conversation with our boy Dave way back in season 2 who mentioned Philadelphia,Nebraska and other huge plot points that played out in some form or another in the universe All to boil to down nothing. CRM an advanced military unit wiped out with very boring villains left. But really thank you for so many years of great videos. People like you and the fan base truly kept this alive.

I totally get it. This season was filmed a while ago and we had the teaser for summer. That said, with this being the only remaining Walking Dead content for the rest of this year, I really do prefer watching it in the fall. Something about having it on during October just feels right.

Should have had DD in Feb. TOWL was 6 that should have been Dec. & Jan. DD was done filming, DC should be Sept We knew the schedule was screwed when TOWL was announced.

James what the heck is AMC doing making snarky remarks to you for? We have you to keep us informed about a show we all love. It's hard to found out about what is coming up and when. With all the waiting the audience has to put up with ,we look forward in hearing your excitement about the walking dead future. You keep us going ! For what is a long ways away.

This is why I was so vocal about us not having too many shows, because we are still getting less even with that we got. Now with nothing new on the horizon, maybe we'll get 20 episodes a year maximum after dead city s03?

Let out James! It’s really hard to keep it in. I feel exactly same about it! I am really pissed & that is all I am going to say about that. I would rather have it now because at least we would have something new to talk about. With it coming at end of Sep it will not be too long before we get Dead city. I think it would been better to come in Summer. Daryl’s show has no excuse for writers strike because that didn’t affect his show. They got to keep shooting. I heard it had something to do with AMC buying last season of Snowpiercer. Well you know what put it on another night & leave Sun alone already!! By the way I love all Space stuff too. It is too cool to see. I agree!!

I rewatch the original show & Daryl seasons one all the time. I don’t get sick of it. I am not invested as much in Dead city but I really like Daryl’s show! There is just so many questions that need to be answered & I guess that is why it’s so hard to wait three more months

They should kept the CRM around. They could have branched out showing new communities that are secretly established throughout North America and South America with CRM wiping out communities. Then eventually bringing groups together.

for me, it's that I'm exhausted seeing these characters figth in wars over and over again. They deserve to have their ending and finished story. I would be totally down for a series somewhere else with new characters and we follow them since the start, like fear but amc would never take that risk. Also and this is weird, but I feel like the better cameras they are using make everything look sterile and dead, I think for a new series they should go back to the grin

I was looking forward to getting DD this summer BUT I'm okay with getting to end the year (kinda) with this season instead.

They did that because it lines up with the October feel. Definitely a let down.

Sucks to wait but im ok with it. If you think about it, summer not the best time to release a show.

It's probably the worst time to release, viewership is down big time due to weather and associated summer activities. Maybe Christmas time is worse but that's not a whole season lol.

Hard to make content on a show with no content. TySwell has been doing breakdowns on the untold stories in the background, like the baby in the apothecary and other scenes like that ... But its just speculation. I love TWD but not AMC so much, this is a great way to kill a franchise

@@TWDExplained i like what you do. No need to change a thing. And the breakdown of untold stories and easter eggs has always been an unlimited source of speculation. And trying to guess what AMC will do is futile.. I like the video you did on how would we react in this situation, and how morality can be subjective. Characters making uncharacteristic decisions that affected everything. Possible future connection between characters. I like to discuss motives and consequences. The next generation, what could happen, where it could go. Breakdowns of the underlying principles of autocracy versus free societies, like the CRM lasted 12 yrs R&M cause it to fail, how would this affect their ability to keep safe, is this why there are federations, Who decides what society is. But I guess looking at the current and most recent shows and seasons would be the most well received by this audience. So perhaps videos that discuss how different scenarios could be exploited, or comparing the characters to their past selves to see how they have changed, I love discussing it all repeatedly I would like more analysis of all the shows but NO ONE (but me perhaps) want to give Fear Tales or WB the same validity a TWD so they aren't discussed as much . I'll be here for whatever is put out. I'm a dead head now.

I get you, I get the frustration. But to be fair I think it's indicative of everything going on right now. AMC is in bad financial shape, and they are stretching what they've got hard, due to both a strike and poor income. I think their thinking was to put a TWD show on in October like they always do. Also they got Snowpiercer and they must have decided "hey, we're sitting on this, let's just play it and give the last few episodes of Daryl time in the post-production room." Maybe I'm wrong but that's how I see it. It seems at the moment we're only getting 2, maybe 3 Walking Dead seasons a year (if they announce another show, that is.) And I know it's hard and I'm not trying to say it to be mean but it might be time to expand into other shows and movies. I kind of think we're entering late stage Walking Dead. It's kind of on the way out. Maybe it'll go big again but at the moment I'm just not quite sure. And if it isn't the end I don't think we're gonna get endless episodes anymore. It's going to be mini 6-10 episode seasons like everything else now. We'll get maybe 20 weeks of content a year at most, potentially 12 at the least. At least Dead City season 2 will be 8 episodes, but still.

@@TWDExplained That's good man. I remember you as one of the OGs. Stewed so many theories from what you and many other KZreadrs like Dan's Reviews, NocBro Nation, etc came up with. I'm kind of sad that so far they were much better ideas than what Gimple and AMC could come up with. Ones Who Live I don't think was the slam dunk AMC needed. It might have hurt them big time, considering the budget and how rushed it was. I was pretty damn disappointed by how they handled the CRM, to the point I just refused to think about it until a month afterwards. This was severely mishandled IMO, and it might have cost them a franchise. I'll obviously still come around to watch you and everybody else, but I'm not really hyped for it anymore. A lot of better stuff to watch is coming out, even on AMC for me, so I feel like the wait for Daryl is nothing. It comes when it comes I guess. I'll still watch, I'm just not expecting anything huge. Maybe Daryl season 2 will come out swinging. Who knows. Thanks for the memories man. I loved this show, still do. Even if it doesn't go anywhere it was still a fun time. It's a crazy fandom TWD is, but the good folks in it are some of the coolest fans I've ever seen, and it's only inspired me to make my own shows and movies. I live for the hype.

Gimple worst thing to happen to TWU, Nick's original plot was going to be insane with Maddison as Villain...

Too much time. Too few episodes..... I just hope DD Season 2 is at least as good as Season 1. TOWL was utterly disappointing. Period. Sorry, but it was. I know TWD is based on a comic book, but believability is still a big factor. Plus, I reeeeaaallly miss Morgan. Anyway, September, huh? Good grief.......

I don't know why Daryl Dixon is necessary but a summer release was never going to work with the big shows all dropping in summer, viewership would have been even worse than season 1,the show premiering this weekend when its airing end of September is certainly a choice

Snowpiercer sucks! It ruined everything. They should have been truthful about Daryl 2's premiere. 😠
