I was riding down the street in Cleveland, Ohio one Friday night. I heard this distinct voice coming from a mic under a tent! I stopped and made a U turn only to recognize Worshipper Daryl Coley calling down fire on that corner by Harvest Missionary Baptist Church! I got out of the car and travailed on that corner that night. It was a gift from the Almighty YHVWH GOD HALLELUJAH that I didn't even have to pay for. Rest with the heavenly host Elder Daryl Coley job well done. Amen

When I first heard Pastor Daryl Coley, was at the beginning of my walk with the Lord. His songs were sermons that encouraged me, taught me how to stand and pray. He was and is one the most anointed and dynamic preacher-singets to this very day. I

2023….and still listening to this incredible gospel legend. Rest in peace Daryl, your works do follow you.

Ive listened to gospel music 40+ years. Watching and listening to Daryl, i just realized how much scripture was in gospel...back in the day. In 2024, it's almost gone from gospel.

Daryl Coley was guest singer at my church many years ago. I was given the honor of serving him water before he took the stage, and the short time I was in his presence It was apparent he was a man of excellence. I remember his genuinely pleasant personality and his keen sense of hearing when he did his sound check. My eyes were fastened on him, how careful he was to prepare the sound before ministering. It seemed Mr. Coley heard the flaws in the system that no one else could hear. I am tone deaf but after he corrected the sound, even I could hear it improve greatly. I thank God for allowing me an opportunity to meet Mr. Coley, a true worshiper.

There is not a Male Gospel Singer that can Sing on the same level as Daryl Coley. And it's a shame his music is rarely heard gospel stations. Reverend Coley is am Icon. His Songs will remain Fresh Forever ! May he RIP cause nobody can do it as he did. Spirit Filled Voice !

I had the pleasure of ministering with this brother and several other Gospel All Stars in Spangdahlem Germany when I served in the Air Force during the 90s. This brother was incredible and hands down the best male Gospel artist I have heard or met. I had several conversations with this brother during that weekend and I can say that he was down to earth, funny, could preach and a joy to hang with. I was sad to hear of his passing and know the gospel music community was and still is greatly affected too. RIP my brother!

This man and Richard Smallwood are Gospel legends who are just fantastic singers.

I went through spiritual warfare at age 13 to 15 and Mr. Coley and the Lashun Pace, music 🎶 was always there to help me🙏

Nothing like that old time gospel music where you sing scripture and mean it from the heart to encourage others! I don't know what is the new music today called because it's definitely not gospel/spiritual. When I first heard this great voice years ago and the words he would sing about I was instantly hooked! What a blessed voice, Daryl Coley is missed!

Here it is 2018 and this song came to me by the spirit of the Lord at a time when God was stretching my faith. As it was back this when this song was first recorded, even today it has a very needed and powerful message. What a loving messages it brought to me concerning trusting in the lord.

This song will always be one of my favorites. He ministers on this song. Faith and confidence building, burden lifting song. His voice was truly rare, anointed and skilled! Rest in JESUS Pastor! Thank you for your legacy and catalog of anointed music.

LORD!! We (Showers of Blessings Choir) backed him up singing this in Chicago in 94', and the Lord absolutely slayed us in that place!!! Rest in Jesus, Bishop Coley....

He has always presented the Word of God in song under the anointing power of God. An anointed soldier gone from us but will always be remembered.

I heard that he gave his testimony about that not too long ago. That's an awesome testimony to give to let someone else know you can come out of that lifestyle!! At lease he didn't try to hide it. He admitted to it and that's where true deliverance comes from!! I've always had respect for him and the awesome gift the Lord gave him to minister through music!!

Possibly the thumbs down speak more to his Daryl's lifestyle that stole from the power of the gospel than from his awesome talent. Unfortunately talent is not what will admit us to eternal life if this was the case, the greatest voice to sing on behalf of God would still be in the courts of heaven, instead the Word said he was cast out and all those who sang well with him.

I cannot speak as to why there are thumbs down, so I won't. I can speak to the deliverance of Pastor Daryl Coley as I was one of the blessed ones who witnessed the transformation of the new creature in Christ Jesus in Pastor Daryl Coley. His journey like all of ours has had and did include sin. But God. God changed the life of Pastor Daryl Coley as only He can with the blood sacrifice of a forgiving, loving savior: Jesus Christ. I will share one fond memory. It was Pastor Coley's bithrday about 2013 I believe. As we left church, Transforming Love Christian Center (tlc2) in Oakland, CA where founding Pastors Walter Jamie and Mia "Sunny" Hawkins serve as Sr. Pastors, some of the members along with our Pastors left together. While we went to share his birthday celebration at Lois The Pie Queen in Berkeley, CA, (Tramaine Hawkins & Chris Davis' mom's restaurant) we were just finishing the great meal and wonderful fellowship with Pastor Daryl and we looked over at him and tears were silently running down his face. Just as we were wiping the tears he quietly said, "I'm just so happy that you all want to share this time with me on my birthday." Pastor Jamie said we are honored to be present with you Pastor Daryl. As we all agreed and share our Pastor's words we each gave Pastor Daryl love and appreciation. The humility he expressed was that of a changed man of God. He grew closer in His walk with God as the power of God began to wrought full deliverance and manifestation of such as only God's word can. Judging is not ours to do but God's alone. I will end with the words of St. Paul in Philipians 1:6 For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus. Amen? Amen. Rest well Man of God, rest well. For it will come to pass... It shall be done unto you.

I needed this because I've been praying and searching for a office assistant job working from 9-5 for long time but every time I apply my experience isn't enough because it's either a two or four year experience and I only went to a career collage for computerized office assistant in 2006 it was just a 8 month course. After I finished this school I didn't get a job in that field only in retail but it was seasonal once that was over it was hard for me to find a job after working there and this year I am working full-time but it's stressful because of the days and hours I work it gets very discouraging. My true desire is a office assistant job, with benefits, paid vacation and my weekends off especially Sundays. Feels like I've been praying for this forever.

I would like to send my condolences out to the Coley and Church family relatives and friends of Mr. Daryl Coley. He will be truly missed and my prayers goes out to his entire family, be blessed and encouraged knowing that Mr. Coley loved the Lord and carried out the Lords work. For this reason he is in the safest place he can be and that is safe in the arms of Jesus.

Celebrating Pastor Daryl Coley's birthday after church today was an honor to behold after hearing him leading us in "I Need Thee". As we move forward into this next phase where God is taking us, TLC2, I am amazed as God and God alone does what no one else can do. I conclude that Yes, indeed, "It Shall Be Done".
