Darwin was introduced in the Deadly Genesis mini-series. Darwin was retroactively a member of a forgotten X-men team that included fellow wavemate Vulcan that was sent in to rescue the original X-men from Krakoa before the classic All-New X-men team with Wolverine, Storm, Nightcrawler etc. were formed. In the First Class movie, this is who the black guy was supposed to be. Maggot was introduced around the end of the Onslaught storyline and was introduced into the X-men after the Operation: Zero Tolerance storyline. Japheth was a small kid who tried to sacrifice himself for his poor South African family after his stomach could never tolerate food. Magneto found him near death and helped Eany and Meany burst out of his stomach for the first time. When he got older he searched out Magneto, initially finding his clone Joseph and joining the X-men alongside him. And yes he was shifted to Gen X near the end of it's original run. He usually gains a ton of strength when they slugs return to his gut giving him the Blue skin tone when he's empowered. He also has a bit of Psychometry. If they didn't have to use the budget to include Bonebreakers parts it would have been nice to include some more adaptive parts for Darwin to make him less of a basic figure. But they did Maggots original look pretty good. Can't wait to get him in hand.

I have no idea who Maggot is but man is that a cool looking figure. That head might be cool for a Tyson Kidd custom too, or a Tyson Kidd head for a Maggot custom.
