Just wanna mention in terms of high relic and no SEE, I’ve got a good amount of spares from leviathan so excited to get him. I think having leviathan alone with a meta malgus team is enough to make bane relevant without having see :)

On the logic that see does well enough with watt for someone, I’d recommend lord Vader with bane over the meat shield team. Pre Omni testing shows that those two can already take down a Rey team. With the Omni in play, lord Vader with him could probably do more.

I think Bane's lead is meant for defense, if you dont have SEE to use on offense

I’ll probably get bane in a couple more conquests. As someone who doesn’t have SEE and doesn’t have a home for Darth Vader, is that a possibility?

Beautiful rundown, my friend.. What I've been thinking as well now, is it worth finally R8/9 Malgus because SEE is now too powerful for Gus? Will it make the GAS counter harder? I mean it won't hurt Gus's ship, and of course it's probably better to relic some GLs before Gus. Anyway - thanks a lot for the video

R8-9 Malgus does make GAS harder. Cal still rips him apart though

I disagree with speed modding. If you're going with him in a 2v5 situation against a GL (which would be best of course), their team will be much faster and will obviously be taking turns. Bane's speed is 140. You're effectively getting +14 speed from a speed set while sacrificing other stats, which can be increased more through his bonuses. I actually think offense or cd might be better suited if not health health health

How viable do we think R9 could be on him? I know he's not a tank, but I'm mostly thinking about his semitank role with SEE and how much more valuable stats and survivability become in a duo than a 5 man team. And considering how long I've waited for Bane (I just reread the Bane trilogy like a month before they announced him) I'd be willing to go a bit further with him than most just from pure love for the character, but I also don't wanna make a big mistake with R9 mats so I'll stop at 8 at release.

Weeeell technically my only other R9's right now are Revan and Malak due to Leviathan, so I don't usually do it, but I'm sorely tempted to just because I've wanted Bane for so long. Maybe it's a better idea to hold off at least until after I've farmed the R9 reqs though. I fully expect you to R9 Jar Jar no matter what btw. 😂

I'm pretty sure part of his kit increases stats for the other character per relic amplifier level after he dies, so R9 might just make a big enough difference to be worth it for team comps outside of GAC

True! 15% CD, offense and potency per relic level. Even his Lead is built around him slowly sacrificing his team in order to feed off their relic levels in a similar way so either way he seems like someone that would profit from relic levels a lot in general due to all the stat boosts in his kit.
