He has low dps/ unload speed unless he is right on top of someone. If all his shots hit he can do 4800 dmg which is good but thats only if theyre right on top of you. He needs a unload speed and reload speed buff by 10% he would be wau better

his pellet count of 10 makes his fall off really bad even if you’re off by a tile, and his 2 staggered shots makes his unload speed too slow to be effective; along with not having effective star powers and gadgets, no tank trait, and a 800 dmg super for its range, he just needs buffs all around

His unload speed at any range that’s not point blank is ridiculously slow and his damage at max range just sucks. He needs an attack speed and damage buff. And his starpower and gadgets need buffs as well

Darryl honestly just suffers the same way most other tanks do: they literally cant do anything without their supers, just like you said. No range so they gotta wait around and feed the enemy team their supers, they aren't a threat until they get super, and even when they do get super the enemy team will just hard-focus them or use gadgets to stop them. This is how tanks have always been, especially before the tank trait. Darryl at least had an auto charging super so it didnt effect him as much as other tanks, but now that they all kinda have auto chraging supers, his flaws have been amplifed. He keeps getting worse and worse as more and more brawlers come out with disengage, cc, and other defensive gadgets. Also doesn’t help that you gotta be inside of another player's hitbox to hit a full clip.

I mailed Darryl for around 2 years you don’t wanna roll across river just on safe then if u have gadget you can get 30-40% he’s also good at tanking in hot zone for no reason

Darryl dammage buff by 100 to all projectiles. Super charge rate from 30 seconds to 20. Super range increased by 3 tiles. Dammage nerf when rolled on a person by (when u get hit by the super) 7% I think theese buffs would make him A or probably S but for now i think theese buffs (or if you call it a rework) would be good. Once he gets his hypercharge revert the rolling range and fhe nerfed dammage when rolled on to someone (basicly hitting them with ur super)

@@Dr_Telfort knockout on the map "goldarm gulch" has been the best to me, its still an extremely difficult and rage-inducing grind, but def possible since i've gotten to 950 with randoms--ive dropped from 930 to below 800 and back to 950 at least twice now at it really does take a toll when youve got bad teammates. keep up the grind, youve got it

I think a good buff for some tanks (not all) is that they spawn in with their super fully charged, like Sam. This could work for Darryl, Doug, Frank

In his Tier List, Kairos, Darryl appears in the C Tier and Maisie in the D Tier, and the truth is that at least in Ranked every time I play Maisie I can make her work and actually do stuff, with Darryl it just doesn't happen like ever. IMO, Darryl is almost F Tier today, you take too many time to get Super and when you do get Super, there are a million brawlers in the game that can shut you down with some Gadget or Hypercharge. I think I would buff his Super charge rate from main attack and maybe replace one of his gadgets with a mechanic to charge a Super or buff Recoiling Rotator's Super Charge That said, nerf Poco

I played Tick in heist because i was the only one with a hypercharge and i have Tick's mastery gold 2. It was in Silver though so my opponents weren't any good.

Spen, you need to try ash in ranked. I think he's really underrated especially in brawl ball if you control his rage he does loads of damage.

I would say that Darryl is one of my more played brawlers and I don't use him much I'm heist at this point. Usually as an aggro tank like ash within brawl ball instead cause collete is just obnoxious

ill never forget when i was daryl and barley just running away with healing starpower and 1 hp beat me... was my last game

i just got tier 29 with darryl and the grinds been so tough

Spen, can you maybe start a series with an "over analysed" type video where you literally over-analyse some of your subs ladder gameplay (diamond+ ELO) I think we could learn a lot from that, and it will also be very enjoyable to watch I think!

I suggest a rework:when darryl use his super while he rolling he don't take any damage and buff for his super charge rate

As a daryll main he’s just outclassed in every way by the new brawlers. Before I use to dominate in heist and other game modes. New brawlers like Charlie, Melodie, mico, Cornelius Maise, etc etc basically all just out dps him or have superior mobility to escape or counter him in some way. When mechanics were simpler in 2019 he was amazing.

You can get the ranked skins from season 12 and after it since they’re exclusive for only a year and then return, the recolors are on the ranked star drop and not on the normal ones

The 2 darryl gadgets are so trash they gotta change 1 gadget at least
