Note the difference in tone, in the first clip, between York's Darrin in the first two seasons, with a few exceptions, to his Darrin from seasons three thru five. The writers made him short tempered, to the point it might be considered abusive. And people like that? Archie Bunker is another example.

Darrin, on several occasions, thought Samantha had turned herself into something. And in every case he was wrong. This wasn't really anything other than Darrin's imagination. However, the title "Darrin's shocking reaction to seeing Sam as a bartender" is misleading, since "Sam" isn't really the bartender and never was.
