People always hate on Dana and the UFC but they have done a huge amount also promoting fighters from other cultures, races and countries. And with khamzat and Machkavech coming thru were gonna see more from these Muslim fighters this is the power real sport has unlike the Olympics that pretends its about breaking barriers but its just about making money from low paid athletes. Who can sacrifice themselves for years only to loose out to an injury and we never hear from them. The UFC provides the PI while olympic athletes have to find their own funding and expertise.

I like Till and consider him an excellent fighter with a big upside. He's just in an era with too many killers. He's certainly above gatekeeper status, but with so much elite talent around his age, I just don't see him being able to navigate the gauntlet. He'll always be must see tv whenever he's on the docket.
I would dearly love to see a fly on the wall TV documentary series involving Darren and Khamzat. Their relationship is refreshingly dynamic and you can sense the chemistry and camaraderie whenever the two are on screen together. There's plenty of footage floating around of them inside the gym but I want to see more about their lives outside of the gruelling workouts, including how their respective families view the tight bond and friendship that's developed between the two. They both appear to bring the best out in one another and I hope and pray their association is a lifelong one. God bless these two wonderful, personable lads and their families. Many thanks for the great interview Ashah..
This interview made me so happy tbh, the look on Darren Till's face says everything. He's happy, surprised, excited, looks like he found a great fit for his training.
Till and Khamzat's episodes so far are brilliant :-)
Respect for Till, I can’t wait to see his next fight to see what improvements he’s added to his tool kit.

Interesting Allstars is now presented as a top international MMA gym. Among Swedish MMA fans there's been a lot of skepsis around the gym - years ago when Gus started losing many Swedish fans said Gus should go train in the US (as he used to do periodically) and a popular comment on Swedish mma forums was "Allstars ans the coach Andreas Michael doesn't cut it - Gus should train in the US" Of course - it's just fans opinions and fans have no idea what it's really like. But it's interesting how the image back then was that Allstars was a low grade gym only for Swedes and now it's top tier enough to attract international talent (But yeah I know - non-swedes have trained there before)
