@@reeanne8701 oooohhh boy. juniorgate is what we call the awful shitshow that followed the writers deciding that Blaine was a junior at the start of s3. originally, Blaine was supposed to be a senior (as was said in the script) when we meet him in s2, to present an older guy to be a sort of mentor to Kurt, who was a junior. eventually the fandom kind of assumed he was aged down when it was revealed Darren would be a series regular come s3. Everyone was fine with him being in the same grade as Kurt- that wasnt an issue at all. but then they had Blaine be one year younger than Kurt, which completely flipped basically everything we knew about his character and his relationship. fandom was RIOTING over this. people took it SO seriously. it was a shitty thing to do from a writer's standpoint, but to some people who had spent months of their lives writing fanfiction and meta that was now completely invalid it was like a personal attack lmao. but it was really more about the inconsistency in writing that everyone was upset about. but it was an awful era in the glee fandom wank that reached through to the producers of the show, so for Darren to like, only NOW be mentioning it 8 years later is wild.

Anyone else crying during the teenage dream part?

watching glee in 2020 is realising the thing you loved so much is so ✨problematic✨

Yes Darren the timeline is messed up. In the episode “2009” they go back to basically before the pilot and kind of during the pilot. But Blaine is in a warblers outfit already at the coffee shop which means that he had to have transferred to Dalton like within the first couple weeks of his freshman year out of his old bully school

I've never noticed how truly amazing Darren really is. It sounds so boring when you imagine sitting there for an hour watching some guy watch a show but Darren makes it so entertaining. The chance to meet him or even talk to him over social media would be the best thing that could ever happen to me.
