I've had the opportunity to see Darren perform many times and this is by far one of the best things I've heard. The string orchestra, the acoustics of a church, him singing from the pulpit - it all works beautifully! Of course the lighting in your video makes him look even more amazing and the absolute silence of the crowd is so rare (and appreciated). Thank you so much for sharing this with us!

After this beautiful rendition, I just had to go back and watch the video of Blaine and the Warblers singing this to Kurt. Decidedly different, yet each wonderfully poignant. What a wonderful talent!

This is a blessing to my ears. This shows Darren’s pure and raw talent. He’s an angel (kinda literally in this video 😂)

his voice is a true gift, Just when I thought I was getting over my crush on him, one of my favorites male voice ever... Somebody else heard the laugh of the lady at the beginning and thought it was Lea... OMG my glee fells ♥

I really have to thank you for sharing that. The only word I can use to describe it is "ethereal." I don't think I've ever heard a performance of any song that moved me as much as this did, and I can say proudly that it made me sob from the pure emotion in it. What a truly beautiful moment from Darren.

Even though I was there watching it live, everytime I rewatch this, it still takes my breath away! This was surreal!

I can understand if the audience is screaming because they are super excited, but it's a little annoying. I mean the people are there to hear him sing, right? Seeing all the videos of the concert yesterday I thought this is the best audience EVER! You're all listening to him and singing along during "Going back to Hogwarts". Thank you for being totally awesome! 😘 (Sorry if my english is bad.)

Haha, no I get that! Sometimes you just want to hear it and he even said it was nice to just hear his own voice for a change! He did say that he wanted us to sing along to that one, though, I think he knew there was no way we could be silent. But everyone was just in awe, I think, and it was a really chilled environment with him making stupid jokes as usual and just appreciating the music! Your English is beautiful, don't apologise at all!

Jodie I saw sam Smith live in a similar setting and it was honestly nothing like I could ever describe, I’ve seen him life before but intimate venues are just so special
