Daron's way of making music has always touched me in a unique way. I think my soul has a piece of Daron's music in it, and it's been like that since before any of us were born.

Lost my best friend to Heroin a few months ago... This song hits home hard. Thank you Daron.

Condolences, stranger. I’ve lost more loved ones to heroin than I have fingers and toes. I had a cardiac arrest and died 3x from it; not just overdosed, I died. I’ve seen Hell. It exists in my head but it’s real. In life. Clean now, only by the grace of my Higher Power.

stuff daron recorded alone in studio is from 2012, so i think this song is perhaps not on the album.

You probably know alredy, but this is orbel babayans project (moustache guy) daron is acting as a guest. Orbel is now scars on Broadway's other guitarist.

Shame on me...I discovered scars on Broadway in June 2018.. and I call myself a daron fan😳. ..I thought only serj was following his solo career. After listening serj on solo and daron solos, as a good fan of SOAD I found that daron was the spirit and soul of system. I love serj, but I find my SOAD vibes more with Daron. Sorry if my English is bad. I'm a french girl😅

Oui même si Serj est remarqué par rapport a sa voix un peu hors du commun, Daron toujours été l'esprit énergique et agressif qui caractérise System, et mine de rien, sa voix n'est vraiment pas commune à lui aussi. Mais quand je vois le nouvel album de Scars qui est entièrement composé et joué par Daron, (il n'est pas mal), mais il manque la patte d'un autre artiste quand même).

Perso je ne sens pas le vide de serj car je suis saoulé de ces caprices (même si justifiés).il pourrait faire un effort de denier album de goodbye aux fans de soad. Combien d'années on a attendu leurs retour pour seulement apprendre en 2018 qu'en fait monsieur n'est pas très "hard métal ". Scar on Broadway manque juste de com, ya pas assez de promotions sur eux et ils sont très bon...c'est un peu the little soad. ..mais je vais me contenter de ça et je suis satisfaite. J'attends juste une date en France. By the way, je suis rassurée d'avoir vu peut être une dernière fois soad en live au download fesrival de l'année dernière. Dsl pour le pavé.

I agree. But it makes sense as Daron was considered the primary song writer for SOAD. A major part of their split was that Serj wanted to do more song writing and have more influence on the song writing than he had. But Daron and Serj couldn't agree on the sound for the band. Serj described that he would write a song, but by the time it was finished being "filtered through the SOAD process," it didn't feel like his original song anymore and often cut it from the albums altogether.

You're absolutely right. Daron is the heart and soul of SOAD. I'd rather listen to his solo stuff. I hope he puts out 5 more albums! He's incredible

Scars on Broadway definitely sounds more like System of a Down than Serj's solo projects but I feel like lyrically it leaves a lot to be desired. I say that as a huge Daron fan (he's the reason I started playing music after all).

Daron is such a beautiful human being for fuck´s sake. and his voice is so breathtakingly beautiful

Wow! Daron is in the viper room in 2017, I know that SOAD performed at this place in 1997, but this video is really good. But I'd rather hope to see system of a down viper room 1997 where Rick Rubin was at.
