"I need DaRon Holmes to get on a good weight lifting program"-- Dude...Google is your friend. Holmes came to the Dayton program at 205 pounds. He gained 30 pounds in 3 years, 20 of which he put on just last off season. How? Be being a guy who has been in the weight room every day. It's not hard to find this information if you just look for it. You said he was "slight". No he's not. He's the same size as Aaron Gordon. Maybe you're looking at old photos. He's already got an NBA body if you take a look at his recent ones. As to the comp with Myles Turner, that is pretty spot on. But Turner came into the NBA measuring exactly 1 inch taller & 3 pounds heavier. He's now playing at 250 pounds, which is very likely where Holmes will play at because he clearly has the ability to add weight since he's done it consistently. I don't understand why you said that he is not a high end defender either. He was the conference DPOY & has been on the A10 all defensive team every year. The fact that the Nuggets chose him ought to tell you something. Calvin Booth is not picking anybody who can't play defense. This kid has an NBA ready game & will be the rare rookie who Michael Malone will play. He'll wind up backing up both Jokic & AG, so he's going to see about 25 minutes a night. His ceiling is high enough to suggest that he could emerge as good as anybody in this draft.
