I love, love, love this! The bunny🐇 is one of my favorite IOD stamps. The 🐝 bee is adorable! Never heard of Mica powder and loved how you used the distressing stamps! Thanks for sharing all the different techniques!! I enjoyed learning different ways to create the look!!

Great tips. I see people put pieces of clay into the longer molds but when I've done it, as you say, the casting cracks when dry. Thanks for mentioning!

Yes, I agree with the more yellow. The first one I did had more yellow and it definitely looked better.

Adorable! I didn't realize that the powder would work on the air dry clay....I will definitely be trying that!!

Hi Michele! It truly helps so much! Also, popping it in the freezer for a minute helps a ton with release as well❤🙌

Were y'all inspired by the palissy (sp) artist when working on dewdrop pond mould? I watched some antiques roadshow thos past weekend was in awe of so many of the IOD designs appear to come from a lot of inspiration from them. One I saw I swear they'd used the iod mould but it was a 100 yrs old. Incredible to see all the incorporation and influence. Loved it!❤❤

I’m doing my happy dance 💃 because I finally found a way to use my mica powders. The best thing is that they really show you on the clay..who knew🤷‍♀️. Question! Do you seal the clay items after there dry, if so what do you recommend to seal them with. TFS

Yay!!! Glad you like the video. I don't seal, but you totally could. If you were to I would just use a clear coat of your favorite brand. Definitely something that doesn't yellow. If you are going to put water inside of your project, seal that before the clay to help protect the clay from the water if it can leak through.

Is there any way you could show how to make crackle medium work properly with the clay and/or resin moulds? Or is it impossible? Lol

I am guessing use crackle medium on top of mold. Put your base color on mold, dry ,seal than medium and final color? Just a guess

I'm gonna try that. I had the hardest time with the one I'm working on now. I'm gonna dona few castings and just try them by themselves. I just worked it too much and didn't really crackle at all for me..practice makes perfect! Thank you for the feedback!

I would have loved to learn this technique from you, but the pop up ads, even after severakl tries, made viewing it impossible. Way to lose an audience!

I'm so sorry about that Toni! I'm not sure why pop up ads are happening, but that is very frustrating for sure. We will look into this!
