I hadn't given this genre that much attention but I usually like anything that has a darker sinister sound with a good vibration of beat in the undercurrent.. This may have put the genre much higher in my personal fave list..

Probably my favorite synth mix, and I've listened to a lot of synthwave/darksynth. The transitions are really well crafted from start to finish and the selection of songs is pristine. S-tier mix. Shame Vol. 2 is not as good as this one.

Dance With The Dead is the only one in this list that kicks ass
