DS2 is still one of the best stories I’ve ever experienced in a video game. Absolutely awesome.

I'm gonna give darksiders 2 a 10/10. I enjoyed it so much that I didn't bother rushing through the game. I didn't think it was gonna be so good when I downloaded it for free on the Xbox one marketplace. in the first playthrough, I put in about 60 hrs and plan on putting more the the harder playthrough. its a fun and challenging game. there is so much to explore. the game itself couldve been a bit more longer. I was hoping for at least a 100+ hrs on just one playthrough, but overall, I liked it. gonna continue playing it till I 100% it

I actually JUST got Darksiders 2! I beat it when it first came out on PS3 but I had a hankering to play it again so I got the Deathinive Edition for PS4! This is my favorite in the series! The first one was my 2nd favorite but 3 I honestly didn’t like much!

2:50 is the way you will get into this game ;) , and maybe you will escape after like 50 hours or more gameplay

Here's a thing you need to know: The game autosaves, so if a glitch happens TURN OFF IMMEDIATELY! Wasted 6 hrs of my life only to have karn glitch and get scruued

I used the Pause menu, "all day, everyday" and I cant go anywhere or play my game! What a rip off. Thanks a lot, Baby Dick Jeremy.

I wonder how much replayability this game will have with the different custimazation options. Like i play a rogue style death one time then play a more magic oriented death the other.

TOwards the end, the guy talking to death is voiced by Commander Mormont of the Night's Watch (Game of Thrones)

Kill enemies, explore, collect gold, eye the camera, use pause menu. Got it.

I do own a PS3 with god of war 2, 3 and ghost of sparta and its pretty obvious that they're completely different games to darksiders 2. The setting, the characters, the rpg elements don't feature at all in god of war. Its like comparing cod to battlefield, they're the same genre but thats were the similarities end.

9 and a half hours til i get mine at the midnight release!

the pc version is supposed to be released this month, unfortunately they didn't mentioned an exact date

What about Gears Of War with their Horde idea? Im not complaining, but it seems like every FPS now has some version of the original Horde idea.

The first one was open world. This one follows the same basic set up. certain areas r open to u once u obtain an item or ability. Until eventually all areas r open. Like a zelda game.

obviously, you seem to have forgotten the fact that the only fans of god of war are ps3 users, where as darksiders has loads more fans as it is across play station, Xbox and PC.

Not really, Darksiders is its own game, which follows its own story line. Also you dont hear Gears Of War fand bitching about every other game taking their Horde idea.

God of War has more fans because it's a dumbed down mainstream game, like CoD (hit a nerve?). Darksiders is more intricate and layered that most mainstream gamers (such as God of War fans) don't want to take the time and get into it.

Feast is the most badass character... can't wait for his game.

What pisses me off is that there's no control menu

the people are raging because the complaints they make in the review about Darksiders 2 are dumb. it's not innovative, it's the same as the first one, too many puzzles, sub-par graphics, world is not populated enough. to me all those 'cons' don't make sense. i love doing puzzles, of course it's the same as the first one that doesn't mean it's a bad thing, look at the arkham games. it's not innovative, just like about 80% of all the other games out there, and the art design is beautiful.

Don't assume I didn't play it. I borrowed a friend's PS3 and played GoW 2 and 3. They were good action games. But what I'm saying is that GoW is better acording to YOUR preferences. There are going to be a LOT of people that say that GoW's better than this and that's fine. but there are also going to be a LOT of people who say that this is better than GoW.

I tell you the most important thing not to do in Darksiders 2 : DO NOT LOWER THE RESOLUTION TO 320x240 cuz you will never be able play this game. (This is for PC players)

Last I checked, Prince of Persia and Zelda weren't hack n' slash. Prince of Persia is an action platformer and Zelda is an adventure action game, seems you're the one who doesn't know what you're saying.

Specially the leveling up, the different armors, and other equipable items, different weapons, towns were you can buy shit, explorable open world, just to name a few of the things they copied. Yeah pretty much the same thing...

THQ must work on Darksiders II Remastered so that the game will be more fun than usual.

well iam not sure if you played darksiders but if you didn't i can tell you its a very good game and by the looks o things there going all out on this sequel so i suggest you get the game because there a lot to do and tons of replay value

First thing you need to know is that when when THQ went bankrupt no one bought the Darksiders franchise and therefore it is now dead. That means no more DLC's, Sequels, etc are coming out like, EVER. Awesome game nevertheless

um i think kobes world already have this game its not that difficult to get it because that store always has every game a week earlier than normal date

this game is so goddamn easy that you probably should just rush through to gte any sort of challenge. The only thing stopping me from finishing nightmare mode is lack of interest.

those were all pretty much common sense things when it comes to gaming (especially # 2, if you dont do that you can die in a lot of games)

Only thing DMC did well was combat that's it, its the only reason to play it, for how well done it is.

When did God of war have a levling system? When did it have dungeons and side quest? When did God of war ever have buying and selling loot? Never this is not a God of war rip off.
