Did that first crossing on strata in my 90 on 37” tyres. Was a weekend trip that happens to have a storm on it. Water pushed up to my windows and almost pushed the truck downstream

That last trough was murder when frozen end of last year, did a fair bit of damage, lesson learned

Haven’t done it in the winter yet really want to capture the beauty of the lane in snow but will keep In mind about the thick ice what damage did it do❓

Strata is like the A470, scenic & direct but there are better lanes.

Thanks bud I love strata such a nice iconic lane! A lot of deforestation up there at the moment really taken the character from the lane..

Did this lane,in the new jimney 2019 model,she did Everything with ease,where landys were struggling! Always been a Landrover fan,but the Suzuki Jim,will take some beating..Glad you don’t add annoying music to the vid..Great ,Ta..

Was it really good the newer Jimny I haven’t seen one or had one out with us on the lanes yet.. I don’t add music it’s great to hear the engines working and sounds of the countryside 😎👍

@@ALL_4_WHEELS yes the new Jim is pretty impressive,go anywhere,like a mountain goat ,or welsh mountain sheep 😂.. I had to sell it last year ,sold it back to the showroom where I bought it...Oringal cost was £19000, sold it for £28000! I did have a bit of kit on it,BFG all terrain,snorkel,rock sliders....I miss her so much !😢 would have loved to have joined you guys . Cheers

One of our group has an old Jimney from the early 2000s and it's off road ability is truly impressive. We recently had a three day trip where we drove a load of good lanes, including Strata Apart from very occasionally struggling with a lack of ground clearance the Jimney put on a very good show, and looked just as good as a Landie with a similar level of mods, The Jimney has a small lift and some MT tyres, but apart from that it's effectively stock.
