I always remembered the next line because its both brutal, soul crushing and both of them know Darkseid speaks an element of truth. And I wrote Palpatine's cunning - as in his manipulative nature and genius by which he gained power, ruled the Galaxy, campaigned against the rebels, ran multiple schemes simultaneously and also blinded Anakin into becoming Vader. Believe me, Darkseid is equally capable of such grand scheming and shadow-ruling. Though I agree, he's like Sauron - but a better fit would be Morgoth/Melkor

He doesn't care what type of strategy he uses, all he cares about is if it's the most effective/efficient in getting things done. Darkside is a guy that would capture a demon and torture it for enternity.....

He may never get a proper chance to shine, but Ray Porter nailed it as Darkseid. I’d argue that he’s even on par with Michael Ironside!

3:30 to 4:45 is the best part of the theme. However, the whole theme was just God level. It was thrilling, creepy, scary, and most importantly, badass. Easily the best and my favorite theme of all time (Including Marvel themes).

It’s getting rebooted, RIP

I love what Snyder did for darkseid. Being fans of both DC and Marvel I respect both Master villians. Thanos is relatable and empathetic. Something alot of big villians lack. Then you get the raw uncut look into what it means to be a new God. There is no second guessing. There is no remorse. Darkseid does what he says he will do. And I'm excited to see whats next. Hopefully Trigon will make a live action appearance. You think Darkseid look insane? Just wait.

I’ve noticed that a lot of the DC themes link into one another. As you said there’s Darkseid and Doomsday but I find that Lex Luthor’s theme from BvS shares a lot of similarities with Superman’s

This is so creepy but so beautiful at the same time.

Thanos did the same thing but the difference is Thanos thought what he was doing is the right thing according to his insane mind. While Darkseid knows what he's doing is wrong but still doing it.

I love how overpowering the horns are in this theme, as they actually align with Darksied as a character. They're grand, powerful, and impossible to ignore. You feel their presence whether you want to or not.

2:13 needs way more love! When I heard that for the first time i nearly craped myself. It capture the sinister pure evil perfectly! One of my favourite moments from the film!

I'm new to Superheroes like the ones in DC and Marvel. But one thing that gave chills to me is this Villain, Darkseid.

The scariest thing about Darkseid is that he’s not like Thanos. Thanos only killed to impress a girl (in the comics) and in the movies he’s even shown to love Gamora but Darkseid… he only wants to rule and doesn’t love anything but himself

Darkseid is a new god which are the DC multiverse's equivalent of a archetypal being,a living idea. And in this case he is the embodiment of absolute evil. Every example of evil acts in the material plane of DC's universe all stems from him. It's why his catchphrase is "DARKSEID IS" .

I absolutely love the metal shrilling that plays at around 2:00 and slowly raises in intensity. It feels like the theme is expressing that while Darkseid is absolutely powerful in superhuman abilities, magic and overall supernatural power, he is also a lord of supremely advanced technology and it's a core with much of his empire. He is a master of power and technology together, which makes him a far more dangerous foe.

“For Darkseid.” 1:59 if u listen to it, u can hear man's scream which tells about HELL this theme makes darkseid more dark than he is already! actually thanos was a good guy in a twisted way!! but darkseid ! he's built different, there's no emotion (which i loved it) he's pure villain by heart! to me he's the perfect villain! guy doesn't want to kill the universe instead wants them to bow down to his name.

darkseid is so terrifying, powerful and evil in this movie, even his voice is so freaking terrifying asf, it makes thanos and palpatine looks like a nice guy compared to him, imagine if ray porter voices the scarlet king from scp foundation if scp has live action movie or animated series? That would be so cool and insane asf, plus, its even way more terrifying

The painting was hint at Darkseid it even had a spear weapon and cracked faced and was leading a army from the sky like the invasion, the nightmare had the omega symbol carved into earth, and even if Lex saw Steppy in the ultimate edition Steppy only had one purpose, to enlighten us to the great darkness. (Darkseid)

Thanos is a Mad Titan who cares for the Universe and everyone in it. He would do anything to save everyone from the fate his species experience, even if he should kill half of the Universe. Darkseid on the other hand. He's your typical God Overlord, who dont care anything but take over, it isnt lazy it's just part of his nature. He just want power and take the Multiverse. In a way, Darkseid is much more scarier than Thanos, cause he (Darkseid) is more dark in nature, while Thanos, is just a individual who wants to save The Universe (though his methods are wrong)

This theme made me go pursue power beyond my capabilities

This soundtrack imposes itself on you much like the Anti-Life Equation.
