DarkOrbit is a massively multiplayer online game developed by Bigpoint Games. The game is set in outer space, where players control a spaceship to battle against non-player characters and other players, all powered by Flash!
At the start of the game, the player chooses between three companies: Venus Resources Unlimited (VRU), Earth Industries Corporation (EIC), and Mars Mining Operations (MMO). Players are teleported to the home map to begin quests from Mission Control.
DarkOrbit uses two types of currencies: credits and uridium. Uridium, common abbreviated "Uri", is more valuable and harder to obtain. Some types of equipment and ammunition can be purchased using credits, but the most valuable or "elite" items can only be bought with uridium.[1] However, for some of those elite items, there is an option to bid using credits. This auction system is used to control inflation of credits.[4] Many new items are not offered in trade. The P.E.T. 10 is a highly priced drone that increases with costs as the player levels it up. There are also several ship designs and ammo types that are never auctioned in game. Uridium can be purchased in exchange for real money via PayPal, credit card, or another method of payment. Uridium can't be traded.
DarkOrbit utilizes a real-time combat system. In combat, a variety of weapons can be used to destroy aliens and other players. These include laser cannons, laser ammunition, rockets, rocket launchers, and mines. Players need to click on their target to lock on before they can begin shooting. Successfully destroying an enemy will result in a "cargo box" containing ore being dropped that the player can take. If the destroyed ship is a player, it’s free to repair.
Players start of the game with a Liberator, priced at 16,000 credits, but easily destroyed by other players. As the player advances in the game, he/she can buy better ships. There are a total of ten different ships that can be bought, with the Goliath, the Aegis, the Citadel, and the Vengeance typically being regarded as the best ships. Ships can be equipped with a variety of items, including shield generators, speed engines, laser cannons, rocket launchers, ammunition, and many other accessories.

Took one year of being blown and you're finally close to FE, you can celebrate as you spend the next two years being blown up going for Ultra elite, gotta love bigpoint games.

Great vid again! With the PET fuel equation, does the level of any gear or AI affect the multiplier? or just the fact that the gear or AI slot is filled?

Hi, I've started watching your playthrough on this series and I am quite impressed by your knowledge of the game. I already know you have a "main" account. May i ask whether it's an UFE account? I'm not sure what qualifies as Full Elite, but i have a Goliath, 8 iris and an apis, 36 LF-3 and 25 Bo2 gens and of course the 15 speed gens for the speed configuration. What is the best way to level your P.E.T up? As i am on level 5 currently and it just seems to take forever seamlessly to get anywhere. I play on the GB1 server, but there are no new players as everyone on my server is either past FE (semi UFE) or UFE itself. This wasn't always the case once upon a time, but i feel like the underdog in this server. I wish you could transfer accounts to different servers for a price (i guess) keeping everything you have with you. I would go to a more active server with players around my skill level and not rediculous over-powered UFE players that pop you in 6 seconds just because you are FE.

+thefearinyoureye For starting out, get your PET to Level 8. Then get Level 3 gears of Resource Collector & Kamikaze. Use the Kamikaze on Crazy Cube Events cx

on which server do you play? the server seems to have very little players cause i play on europe global 2 and there are enemies even on x-3 and its very hard to farm up

Hi. I have a little question. Why are you using the blue credit shield´s aren´t the red credit shield´s better??? (sry for grammar im not from eng speaking country :D )

The red credit shields are indeed better in terms of damage shielding, but, it offers a less amount of shield. I go for the higher count so I can sit in battle a little bit longer.

oh cool i was wondering if you quit because it has been a long time. today after some help of the winter event i was finally able to get my pet! i guess a lot of grinding is next then? good luck and keep up with the amazing video's!

Hello all you DarkOrbit pros out there. I got a problem acording my skylab which is that i do not have any prometium stored up there what blocks me from upgrading stuff how can i solve it?

+Astral Shadder Are all your collectors active? Is your Solar Module upgraded to a level above all others? Are the Prom, Endurem & Terbium collectors leveled up above the others? Is your Xeno module equal or higher than the level of your Prom refiner?

No, Killerstreak is talking about promerium, you asked about prometium... I had the same problem, I forgot how I solved it... Try sending some from your ship to the skylab. Hope it works :)

I just Googled Greek letters and copy/pasted them. You can find others on "Character Map." Open the start menu and type it in.

+ProtoxxGaming Kristillons, you find them on x-6s and x-7s. There are SKs & BKs, named such for easiness to tell others. SKs = Small Krystals = Kristillins. BKs = Big Krystals = Kristillons. Spelling may be off, but you should get the point. Same applies to boss & uber variants, BBK, BSK, UBK, USK.
